I believe Tony’s customs were originally called the Zulu based on an old knife design, with Case changing the collaboration knife name to the Tribal Spear. Is the C/B Zulu the same knife as the C/B Tribal Spear? Asking for a friend...
My friend thanks youI believe Tony’s customs were originally called the Zulu based on an old knife design, with Case changing the collaboration knife name to the Tribal Spear.
This pic makes me nervous. I'm sure it would probably fall safely into the boat, or onto a dock, but I'm still nervous. Here’s mine…

LOL!!! Thanks, Matt — but I can assure you that no knives were harmed during the course of that photo shoot. This pic makes me nervous. I'm sure it would probably fall safely into the boat, or onto a dock, but I'm still nervous.
Beautiful knife and picture
No. Different construction design, different materials, one’s a slipjoint, the other’s not…One’s not a limited Case Bose, but regular production. Is the C/B Zulu the same knife as the C/B Tribal Spear? Asking for a friend...
I believe the Tribal Spear is the Case Bose limited collab one also known as the zulu, and the Tribal lock is the one regular production one with the lock.No. Different construction design, different materials, one’s a slipjoint, the other’s not…One’s not a limited Case Bose, but regular production.

Nice project Jason, can’t wait to see the finished product.Got my Wilfred Hunter in today. I can't wait to tear into this knife! I am for sure going to pull this one apart and pattern the parts. From there I'm going to handfinish the blade and spring. Recut the choil and smooth out the action. Fix all the gaps and high and low spots in the spring. Soften all the catchy edges and build completely new covers for it. Mine has bad blade play esp. closed so I'll rework the bushing and get rid of the play as well. It's going to be a really fun project and I'll learn lockbacks in the process to a large degree. It'll be a daily driver for me once I get it fluffed and buffed.

Gorgeous example Jason.A dealer still has a few of these WT's in stock so I figured I better snag one before they are unobtanium. I put my HT away and gonna carry this one a while. I'm genuinely sad that production knives of this quality won't be available at this production scale anymore.
