Forgive my ignorance — I know that WT stands for Wharncliffe Trapper, but what does HT stand for?

Good question. That knife is supposed to be based on the Remington HTT -- Hunter Trader Trapper. There's only one 'T' though.

Hunter Trader? Hunter Trapper?

🤔

“HTT” - Hunter, Trader, Trapper

“HT Trapper“ - Hunter, Trader, Trapper

This knife is a R293 Remington HTT. It was made for the Hunter-Trader-Trapper magazine for a subscribtion drive for 1 year, 1930. For $3.50 you could get the knife and 12 issues of the magazine. It's one of my favorite bullet knives and a very rare one. Yes this is one of the bannana knives.

I'm still trying to decide if I like this BoneStag or not. I tend to prefer richer colors and more traditional jigging but it's been nice to experience at least. The knife itself is pretty darn stellar regardless.

I've never been a big fan of it but you got a real nice example there and it looks great on that knife!

I agree, that one is very nice. I’ve had several examples of bonestag on other knives and only kept one, a Barlow, the others moved on.
