Cooks like a charm with very little wood...

I am a BIG fan of this little stove. This will go with us everywhere.

Penny approves as well. Although she may have been just focused on the bacon.

There's nothing wrong with the titanium version... I've had mine now for about a year and a half and maybe lit 30-40 fires in it. I thought that it would warp or burn-through as the material is so lightweight, but so far it's still going strong!

Stainless. I can manage the extra 4 ounces. :D
Haha, I hear ya, I feel the same way.

I've never thought there was anything wrong with the ti version, it just costs more, and the weight difference isn't that significant.

It is for a fact. I love the GSI kettle. I think I'm going to try this rig out. It's the 1.6 MSR. Lots of room left in there and sits in my cast iron skillet.

This fits in a small dry bag and right in a hatch. I think we're going to enjoy this for boat camping.

Don't fit much better than that.

Just ordered one myself. TW, does that come with a sleeve? Gonna have to make one, or find one if not.

Mine didn't but Smallfart has these heavy cordura zip pouches for two bucks (near the school supplies) that work and you have a place for some tinder. Even come in OD. :D

Stop tempting me with pot/kettle pictures. I have a credit card and I'm not afraid to use it.

I got some new to me cast iron today -- 4 brake drums from one of the local big rig repair shops.
dumpster diving at its best!
