I could, It'd be a little more expensive than G10 and I'm not sure how strong moonglow is. The 940 doesn't have full liners, so I'm not sure how it would work out.

I think it should hold up pretty good.
It's a breeze to work with and comes in many colors & designs.

Absolutely. It will scratch, because in my experience, it isn't as hard as some other plastics. Apart from that, should be fine. My only concern would be temperature. Keep it away from hot lamps unless you want to reshape your scales!
