CBM's - Customized Benchmade's

Posted elsewhere too, but this seems a good place for these :D Really enjoying seeing what other folks have done.

Started with a Ritter Griptilian, but wanted a different handle...

This in turn lead to a friend wanting something done for a Mini. I found the full liner a PITA, not having worked out the best techniques until after I was finished!

Then there was a handle for a friend's Ritter that often goes to interesting places and therefore needed to be bright both day and night...
(the training blade was just for fitting, my friend fitted his own mechanism and blade)

The backspacer got the tritium treatment...

It is now with my friend in Borneo :D

And finally, as much as I like the Ritter blade, I have always fancied something a bit pointier, in a steel that takes a finer edge, so had a go at making one. RWL34 sharpened at 25 degrees, its a cutting demon :D

Remarkably, I didn't screw up this blade and am now one very happy camper. Next up I need to give it some new scales :D

Cheers

Chris

Nice job Chris.
It is good to see some new creative ideas in the mix here, welcome.

Here's some better pics of last weekend venture.......

Hey keyman,
Could are you still making scales? I am looking to get a set of scales made and i didnt know if you had anytime to make some. I have seen your work and i am really impressed

Fantastic DoAT. Grey G10 and cocobolo might make for an interesting combination.
