I wasn't aware that there was any doubt that the bathroom shows things at their best. Nearly every selfie ever to grace the Internet was taken in a bathroom. Some of you guys with the crazy camera skills are by far the exception to that rule. I really do to see many people changing the scale profile for the mini-grips. I see a lot of awesome scales, but I never really like the round or oval shape of the mini-grip. The Wilkins shape is an improvement, but it does add overall bulk, especially if the scales are alloy material.
I know if I had the tools and resources to produce scales in quantity, I would play with the profiles to really change the look.
Awesome work on these scales! I know how hard it can be to do it by hand as I've walked that road a couple of times.
The inlays are pretty cool!
