CBM's - Customized Benchmade's

Revisited this one.
Thinned the scales by .025" each side. Added 3 more scallops and extended all of them a little more toward the spine. Also changed out the red cogged back spacer with a new full length burgundy one .

MUCH improved!! I really like this knife. A mini in the new s30v would be sweet.

Thanks Elite_KG, I like it much better too.
The reds(very dark reds) are a much closer match and I love the way the super full length cogged back spacer came out.
Very cool.

I never been interested in all the barrages. I had a mini that I removed the safety feom for a while. The plastic feeling scales never interested me. I have since noticed they make the M390 version in a mini. Your scales got my creative interest working. I have some stabalized green maple with hints of orange here that has no purpose yet. I may pick up an M390 Mini and see what happens.

I do really like that knife. I see many that have nice work done, but not many I would like to own. That Barrage I would definately carry!
 
The CF really compliments the burl. Very modern, but classy; much like your original CF and wood inlays. I prefer the bolstered look. The knife looks excellent with the DLC Ritter. Very nice and worthy of appreciation from several aspects. The owner will be pleased Im sure.

Wow.. the burl is just stunning... unreal.. I have a 707 w/ a D2 blade, at Cuscadi right now, having stabilized amboyna scales installed. I can't wait to see how it comes out. I'll post photos when I have 'em! ;)
 
Handmade Mini-grip scales....in progress.









Still require countersinking the screw holes and shaping to the final dimension. Getting close though...

(Pinstripes look green, but they are actually a pale yellow)
