So these are made out of the uniforms a customer wore in Afghanistan, for the knife he carried there. He made the material, not me... I just mill stuff.
And we have some carbon fiber with dyed redwoodburl. Most of the dye didn't seem to penetrate, but there are some blue areas. Either way, nice looking set.

Wilkins scales (Jade Ghost G10)
I Modified the attachment points on the scales.
Now they are anchored down using two button head screws from each side.
Instead of two screws from one side into two captive nuts on the other side.
Plus, a full length cogged back spacer.

A company called MXG Gear makes the clips. I have several, and they are of high quality in my experience and opinion.
I can say that the wood scales are holding up very well. I put a lot of miles on my 710's, and I thought they would not handle the wear. Glad to say I was mistaken. The blue scales are ones that get double-takes, even from non-knife people. Give me some time on the new carbon scales and I'll let you know where they fit in. I'm putting a black deep-carry clip on it to see if it'll fly under the radar.
