ugh. no doubt zander.. "terrible twos" HAH HA HAHAHAH.. not so much. THE 3s... ARE WHERE ITS AT! Bad attitude, says NO all day, gives up easily (currently), throws fits to try to get what he wants... plays too rough too fast and doesn't get why he gets time outs.. and all day this goes on... TIRING...

Luckily, I'm still a sad bastard and can't be involved as much as normal.. so he tries to get away with more.. then I get pissed and he gets in big trouble, then cries.. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhh, then 10mins later at it again..

wish he'd sleep longer! Otherwise, he's great! And our little guy is almost walking, super fun!

Life is suffering. With lots of fun mixed in :D I'm glad we end up remembering the good over the bad, in most cases...

Where be the knives?? Lycosa is making now? Pics.
 
Haha, sloth, if that isn't a day in my house described to the "T" then I don't know what is! My boy likes to potest by going limp and collapsing where ever he is at. He'll try it in th chair at dinner and when he hits his head on the floor starts the big 'ol WWWHHHHAAAAAAAAA.

Mix in potty training with this attitude ad it gets sh***y real quick! Thankfully Zyler is almost completely potty trained now, but when he was doing "the dance" and didn't want to stop what he was doing it became a real chore.

Jade sounds like a three year old, she's out of control! lol she is very good at throwing. She is so smart... knows to bring me my CAD printouts from the printer but then again it sure is fun to rip them out before they are done if she demands play time!!! she will actually look at me then look at the papers with this look.. next the kittie food gets tossed if I'm not fast!!! too funny

Another favorite is that she will put her dry cereal on the coffee table, meow then eat "kitty style" no handed!!! big joke...

Every day she brings Sara her shoes and hat and asks at the door...Dad! points at the shop, lol! I usually get a visit and an ice tea refill. :D She's only 15 months!


I've already put in over 40 hours in this week and it is only Thursday! look out! :D

Hey guys!

Hot here too but not bad... dry heat. The smoke is nuts, I just put some meat outside in hopes of slow curing it, forest fire style. The nearby fire has taken out over 100 square miles of land, luckily not a house has been burnt. It is in a seriously remote area.

I'm putting the finishing touches on about 3 dozen items... look out! :D

It reminds me of my holidays as a child, my grandparents smoked pork prepared.

Just kidding on the meat but I'm throwing some St.Louis style ribs on the grill later! not really slow smoked but still good.I'm originally from TX, my Dad had a smoker for a while that must have been 15' long!

Yes lots of knives! 3 in Jade G10, 9 kiridashis, 5 Backpackers, a Ti Bottle Opener Knife Wharnie, O1 Wharncliffe, 5160 tanto, sheaths for more.. lots I am forgetting. 5 beer flats of knives!

Yes summer finally hit the west coast, BOUT F"ING TIME... I lived in AZ for 18yrs... I enjoyed HOT... I was there for the all time record heat.. I had a VW 72 bus at the time, no AC of course.. and had to go to work in that heat.. just wearing shorts :) I also have bragging rights of not wearing shoes for over a full year. :D

We have 90-92 here this weekend, but luckily, I"M SICK!#%$@$% pos health. Looooooooooooong 3 months.. LONG. Another 2 wks until I'm "80%" healed from the last surgery.. 2013 year of the suck. O_O Hope winter dumps mass loads of snow, as I plan on killling myself up there this next season..

Remodel starts here in a couple weeks too! OH JOY, house all f'd for summer and some of fall... ugh...

So, when are you putting out that fire :D
 
I like St. Louis style ribs over Tx style myself, but I'm a Cali kid, what do I know! We put chicken and artichoke on pizza!

So wait a minute, you're selling knives by the flat now?! I'll take a six pack of 'dashis!

Rolf, I ride my bike to work everyday (or walk) its only 1 mile, but I even brought a water bottle with me today! My building is old and get pretty warm even wth the AC and fans running. It makes it tough having all the animals in here as well, I keep water bottles in the freezer to throw in th cages for them as well.

I don't miss the heat much myself but can leave my mountain for that...

I should get on that fire! They have over 1200 people on it but one 'squatch can do the trick. scare the fire!

I guess TX style ribs would be hardwood smoked while St.Louis are cooked damp or sauce... in TX they are usually cut like St.Loius ribs though. Mine will be a bt of a cross or usually are. I grew up in TX but cooked a few cases of St.Louis style ribs a day for years as a Sous Chef. I especially enjoy making BBQ sauce... mmm BBQ! Heck I better get those ribs on.

6 pack of dashis... can do! ..Man they are sharp, I nicked myself with one... 1/4" long cut that I didn't even feel.... it soaked an entire paper towel in blood before I cleaned it and applied pressure. It healed almost instantly like a scalpel cut.


I'm covered in band aids, blistered all to heck but the knives are looking really good! :D
