Good morning!

Headed to work in a few for just a short stent then once my coworker shows up I'm outta there and on my way to Santa Cruz with the wife and another couple for the weekend.

Well with the blckouts yesterday I didn't get to waste my time with designing a caping/SGK so I did it this morning. I got 4 designs drawn up, but I really like them all! The blade shape is the same for all 4, but handles are different and overall length is different.

I started a poll over in General Discussion to see which is more popular, if you guys could check itout and let me know it would be great! http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1090044-Help-me-decide-which-SGK

Ok, now its time to get some work done!

Hey guys!

Finally found a hotel room, this is the first time I have ever had issues getting a room, we called 37 hotels all with no vacancy. Finally got lucky by driving by one and saw a classic neon sign out in front of this funky little 20 room motel, pulled over a buddy jumped out and ran in to be told there is one room with one bed vailable due to cancellation and its $209! We took it. With 4 of us its still not bad, but the ceiling fan doesn't even have all its blades!

Fun times! We were even considering buying a cheap tent and camping on the beach. Got a ton of great photos, but all on my phone, so I ill upload tomorrow and show a few. Brought the teak rigger with me too!

Hey BigCountry! It has been getting cold here at night all summer... 53 right now even.

We just saw a Bobcat! 10 feet from the house... as I was typing this! wow that was cool!


I've been working like a maniac, yesterday was a serious day... 10+ hours put in on scale shaping. The bushcraft knives are looking good!

I decided we need camp knives too, more on them later! Big enough to chop with, very versatile larger knives... 13" or so on average and made from 3/16" O1.

As my small business is going well I had to hire an assistant, in anything until I can have paid leave
Is all well for the U.S.?

Hey! :D The Bobcat was awesome, we see a lot of wildlife here. There is usually a deer sleeping in the yard too.

I'm getting back on the folders too, it seems there is an endless list of stuff I need to buy for them but I keep getting closer!

I might have had a Bear right outside of our bedroom last night, the snorting woke me up! maybe a raccoon as I never saw it

We see tons of bears though, a younger one was hanging around but seems to have moved on. Lately there has been a group of Turkeys that keeps passing by the shop... 3 adults and at least 15 little ones... 2 deer too, one often sleeps right outside of our living room. We never leave anything edible out, there is just loads of wildlife here.
 
Looking forward to taking my Fairly Tanto down to Ecuador in a few weeks. Hopefully it doesn't get stolen out of my luggage like my Emerson did in Cambodia. Does third world baggage claim pass through count as "hard use"? It oughta

Yes it does! lol I have been through Grenadian customs a ton, it gets weird there.
 
Morning guys!

Damn, it felt so good to sleep in my bed last night! The crappy little motel room was terrible. I was ready to just sleep in the car, but the other couple we brought along, she had to have a hotel room. Never bringing them again for a spur-of-the-moment, just go and figure it out later, trip. Whine and complain the entire time!

On my way to work, gonna be a busy day.
