Mornin gang.

Man, I slept in 'til 730 this morning, that's the latest I have slept in a while! Now I'm still tired, workin on a big cup of coffee right now.

Its hot and muggy here today, humidity is pushing close to 40% today.

I had a electrician come and give an estimate yesterday. HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! Anyone want to by a hard use liver? Kidney too that is up for sale also along with everything else I own.

There is a place in downtown Austin that serves fried chicken on a Belgian waffle and it is awesome.

I don't run to be fit. I run to stay even with my disgusting food intake.

Uuummmm, nope. She's got marks on her from the ten foot pole. That's one crazy lady. CRAZY. I try to avoid conversation with her, but still run into her all the time. Its ok though, we all have one like that...

Maybe consider buying everything and running th wire yourself and save the hookup and final inspection for an electrician to save on labor hours. I have some friends in the trade still, I could make some calls if you want.

Hey Daniel can you make it a thing where you make a post in this thread whenever you post up new knives for sale? Just something like "new knives posted". I like getting right in on seeing that new product.

Drinking coffee and ordering a tuna melt from Magnolia cafe.

Man, I'm beat. Still got an hour or so to go at work, too.

Just wanted to say thanx to Daniel for letting me post the link to my SGK/caping design poll and those of you who have voted. So far one design is the front runner by votes, but I just like them all! I figure I will get two of them going anyways.

Daniel, feel free to use any of my designs if you ever want! I design way more than I make and I love to draw. All four designs took me only 45 minutes or so. You still considering a collaboration?

I've been itching to get some steel dust on the floor, but with the wife off work for 3 weeks its tough. She keeps talking about spending time together or something like that.

Lambo... I like it! I try to make the chat thread the place to be for announcements and other stuff... I appreciate the fact that we have a great time and group here, I want to make it worth it too! I'll let you guys know.

Right now I have Bushcraft knives coming up, they will be around $150... I have a "custom" style Damascus Kiridashi that just needs pics, the leather sheath is complete and I'm asking $210 shipped... Pikal in .93" 52100 and Jade G10 with Kydex, $175 and a massive tanto in .25" Ti around $300.

Magnolia!!!! Man I wish I was there! We went to the South location tons... good times!

Hey that's what we do all of this for, the knives! The designs you posted are great and the last one sounds very good for a pinch grip, etc..

Collab... I have some ideas but you could probably do them better! I want to see more spikes and turned stuff from your shop.

My attitude is that if it is OK with Bladeforums rules it is OK with me! Post 'em if you got 'em! I was very pleased to see people I recognized voting on the poll.


I need to get things going more here, I have been in the shop a ton! My current goal is making awesome knives from my existing stock to invest more in folder making. And for fun too! :D

I am still working on the O1 batch right now, just waiting for the second temper cycle. I have 6 large camp knives, they are a great all purpose large knife... also 2 cleavers or Nakiris and a Deba or some sort of Chef's knife. The Camp knives are 3/16" and the kitchen knives 1/8".
 
Daniel: cool man. I've seen so many cool knife designs that its hard to say, I want this or I want that. I'm in more of a "I'll know it when I see it" stage of knife buying. That's why I've been hound dogging the page in case I miss a one off. It's become sort of distracting :). So with instant email notification on this thread I'll have as good a chance as the next Fairly Afficionado
