Hey gang! Just finished catching up on about 10 pages of posts, about 2 weeks worth. I need to manage my time better so I have time to read the DFK chat thread. Working some overtime lately. Got to get it before they quit it.:)
Hey Daniel, You have a mill, make your own molds! Call me if I can help, or email me and I'll call you. Also, One of these days I'll have a chopper from you.
FBC, congrats on the grinder. Now get to work.:D
Hey Big C, listen to the DR. and may you have a speedy recovery.
Xander, jury duty can suck but sometimes you get an interesting case. Have you tried an inversion table for your back? Machete sheath...Kydex maybe or thick felt and duct tape.

Hi DFK Gang!
Relax Daniel. :D
Time for Church. Which means a morning walk in the woods.
Make it a good Sunday bit-chez. :D

Have a good Sunday!

Nice! It's cold here in the woods this morning, 53 when I got up.

It has been raining here daily and is nice! I saw a few peach trees that were broken from the load the other day... tons of apples are getting there too. I only have wild plants like chokecherry at my place but the valley down the road is nuts! I can find the occasional raspberry and strawberry here too, they grow wild. This is all good because we really need the rain...

Thanks man! In for sure.

It's a beautiful, balmy Sunday morning here, and I think I'm going to do a little work in the yard and maybe start up the drawing for my own frikky plan... I figured after all my friction folder collecting, I'd be more i tune with my own hobby and more able to appreciate the work that goes into it if I give it a whirl on my own, right?

I'll be getting help from a friend over on EDCforums as well. Should be fun!

...although I don't think I'll be giving Daniel a run for his money any time soon. :p

Nice! Friction folders are fun and can be made on somewhat of a low budget... they are a great way to start.

Let me know if you need any help too! I like to start with the pivot pin then drill two holes for the stops and grind around that.

Good morning! I had fun with my Nephew yesterday. Now I need to get some work done. Y'all have a day!

Nice! Have a good one and make some knives! I want to see thirty or forty of them by the end of the day! :D :p

I just came in from sharpening the pair of camp knives... sheaths are done and just need to be cleaned and assembled. :D

Very nice! Sangria sounds killer, perfect for summer!

I just remembered, I have Imperial IPA in the fridge! Rampant by New Belgium... I have only had one but was impressed. We have a local beer "Derail Ale" that is a favorite an this reminds me a lot of it.

Cheers!

I'm working on pics... going to hopefully post up a pair of Camp Knives for sale!

These had a lot of time into them, tons of hand sanding and even the handle material was made by me.

Sangria? It is only cut fruit wine and soda.
A little culture, a very famous drink is the kalimotxo.
Its ingredients are coca cola and wine, 50% mixed and served cold is best to beat the heat.

I'm just short on the wine part! :D

Cool drink! interesting...

In the Dominican Republic they make a drink called Mamajuana, it is wine, honey, rum and lots of tree bark and stuff that I'm not sure of. Good stuff! I have had a bottle going for years, you can just add to it as you go.

In Grenada and St.Vincent the big thing is "Under the Table"... just ask for that! It is almost always free to have a rum drink in the local stores if you just ask, they really get excited to give away the under the table! ...usually leads to shots of strong rum, 191 proof! they bottle the strong rum as paint thinner too. It's all good fun there, a traditional thing to do.

The "Under the Table" varies but is always scary looking! plant roots, centipedes, bark, all kinds of weird junk!

In St.Thomas they have the Bushwacker, 7 types of liquor with no mixer and tastes like a milkshake! Dark Rum, light Rum, Coconut Rum, Baileys, Amaretto, Frangelico and Kahlua... add ice and blend!

Nice choppers Daniel.

Thanks! I'm just uploading some pics.
