The in laws just left, we got to visit yesterday and today they helped us out with a bunch of stuff... with a babysitter here we can both work which is awesome! I got a ton done...
Steel is in too! 28 feet! it weighs a lot! 8' .070" AEB-L for kitchen knives, 12' of .093" 52100 for kitchen knives, 8' of .27" 5160 for kiridashis!

I once purchased over 60 feet of S7 and O1! I have a few pieces left but most is gone. It was seriously heavy!

Rolf - yes black rocks and the finish on Zirconium is as durable as it gets. I hear it won't even grind off!
I'm buying a sheet for bolsters as soon as I can.

Ha! I remember that! That was way back when there was only 1 page off threads on your subforum.
Bought my first DFK's not to long after that, EDC Proto and a wharine. I like black, black knives look....something cooler than cool.....Ultra Cool!
Oh yeah, mornin' y'all. Well it's morning here anyway, even if I haven't been to sleep yet. Maybe some Crown Royal Black will help with that. :thumbup:

Mornin y'all.
So, I think I set a new record this morning...highest speed with a pasenger. My boy has been coughing and sneezing a bit the past few nights, and this morning he comes in our room at about 6:15 coughing. Well, he climbs in bed and lays down. Less than an hour later he sits up and starts crying, like just sounds asleep then awake. It was weird. He says, "my tummy hur....bbbaaaaarrrrrrfffffffffffff" all over the wife and I in our bed! I grabbed that kid and shot outta there so fast! Ugh, talk about a wake up call! Trying to clean the mattress before work.
The joys of being a parent I'm told...who the f*** ever decided it was all joy?! Ugh, kid barf. That smell permeates through everything.
Anyways, morning y'all! Lol.
