Mornin y'all.

So, I think I set a new record this morning...highest speed with a pasenger. My boy has been coughing and sneezing a bit the past few nights, and this morning he comes in our room at about 6:15 coughing. Well, he climbs in bed and lays down. Less than an hour later he sits up and starts crying, like just sounds asleep then awake. It was weird. He says, "my tummy hur....bbbaaaaarrrrrrfffffffffffff" all over the wife and I in our bed! I grabbed that kid and shot outta there so fast! Ugh, talk about a wake up call! Trying to clean the mattress before work.

The joys of being a parent I'm told...who the f*** ever decided it was all joy?! Ugh, kid barf. That smell permeates through everything.

Anyways, morning y'all! Lol.

Ugh, I hear ya man. I have three little rugrats, ages 2-6. Seems like when they get sick, it's all at the same time...
Last time was just after one of their birthday parties, and my poor brother and his wife were taking them for the night so the wife and I could have a nice night away.
All three spent 24 hours hurling, and three days later, my bro and his wife started...
Neither my wife nor I got even a little nauseated.

xander.. wtf, same thing here last night... but at 11pm.. then almost at 1am, 3am, 4am,5am,6am... no fukn sleep and the kid was so sick in his bed, poor little guy... he has a congested head and runny nose now.. Just said he woke up and was barfing.. scary and lame.. wonder whats going around.. must be a new 4yr old virus hitting the schools? On Thursday we went to "show day at class" or some crap, so around a bunch of new kids.. you been somewhere with tons of kids?? No real fever.. not very "complainie" today... about the same?

I can't imagine 3 at the same time! Usually its the wife and kid at the same time. Its amazing how things tht would make any adult without kids queasy, is just par for the course to those of us with kids! But, still took me a while to get over poo on my hands...

Weird, sounds exactly the same. Once he barfed (twice actually, he did on the floor as well) he said his stomach felt better. No real compaints during the day, just a little whiney about congestion when he lays down at night. No fever, no aches, good apetite too. He's been in daycare since about 1y.o. and started a new school three weeks ago. So nothing recently changed.

Funny, this all reminds me of a time wen he was about 14 months old. I was puttin him down for the night and he hd just finished a half cup of milk. I picked him up and walked over to the wife who was sitting on the couch. I held him out and down so she could give him a kiss goodnight and he spit up all that milk at the exact moment she kissed him! I've never seen the wife move so fast! When you have baby spittle on your face I guess it motivates you to move in a hurry.

Well, I hope he gets it all out of his system before I get home from work. Oh, and I get to buy a new iPad as well, he broke grandma's last night...dropped in down the cement stairs outside! Ugh...

That children sick all at once is normal, is my opinion.
Only I have experience with children of a sister of my ex, is a nightmare to have them sick at home and having to take them to Hospiltal by ER.
I have a six pack of Budweiser, anyone is encouraged?

An Ipad?
That is a nightmare, my sister wants one at all costs and I have hijacked a Iphone 5 that he had abandoned.

Tell me about it, I despise almost all apple products, and having to buy one for someone else just irritates me even more! Budweiser, I can't stomach that stuff! For lighter beers I much prefer Duvel, besides it takes a whole case of Bud to equal a six pack of Duvel :D

The apple prodcutos are too expensive for the quality they offer. Well that sold as exclusive products, but they are only midrange product premium.
Not usually very maniac with my mobile phone, but I refuse to pay nearly 700 € for Iphone (was owned by my ex).
When my Blackberry died in a tragic accident I bought a Nokia 520, a cell phone excellent for any use for 150 €.
I do not like android.
What do you use?

I'm pondering trying my hand at building my own friction folder (having never done anything like this before!) - I have 6 million questions though. Would it be kosher to start a thread on it here? I know there's an entire subforum dedicated to this, and I will no doubt read there as well, but I'd sure appreciate feedback and thoughts from you DFK nuts.

After all, it's not like I'll be giving Daniel a run for his money! :p

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Some crazy games goin on in the NFL. Got our first dog today; a rescue who is behaving very well. Hope it continues!

Man i see a few GAW's going on here. Dan is the man!

Kermmak, I use andriod, but only samsung phones because they allow enough customization of th OS for my liking. I dive deep into my smart phones. I've had two motherboards, one screen, and on my third replacement due to wearing them out! I'm going on 3 years with my current phone and 99.44% of all my online activity is done through my phone. I do lots of stuff online. I also use it for apps and anyting else a mini computer might do.

I never realized phones were that pricey over there! But my wifes new phone retails fo about $1100.00, mine was $900.00 when new. Of course we never pay those prices, we have been with our provider for so long that we get all kinds of special deals and we know the best way to get deals (never from th service provider).

Man, this kid today! I get a frantic call at work from the wife about an hour ago. She tells me that while she was cooking dinner Zyler went into the bathroom to brush his teeth. Well when she asks what he's doing after that, he says he took his medicine! The wife runs in there and tells him to point to what he took, he drank half a bote of kids cough and cold medicine

I told her to contact poison control and ask them. Turns out that being a homeopathic medicine and non-drowzy there is no major concern, he just might get an upset stomach, vomiting (more, yay!) or diarhea (even better!). If something is going to happen it will be in the first two hours, so far he's just a bit tired. Good thing we didn't opt for the heavy duty nightime stuff, that could be all bad.

So, I'm just finishing up my night and am about to head home. Got me a bottle of rum to medicate myself for the craziness that is sure to ensue at home.

Oh, yeah, go make a frikky! Cardboard or acrylic is great for prototyping. Chain ring bolts are cheap and easy to use for pivots. Don't make the end of the tang sharp in any way, it will get you!

I guess there are some benefits to homeopathy - the absolute inability to overdose being one. Staying hydrated, the other. ;)

Seriously though, glad its not going to be a concern. Hope he feels better.

I also use Android phones - currently on the Nexus 4 because it doesn't come with any skins and bloat on top of the OS (unlike many of the provider based ones) without having to root it. I personally don't like the apple phones (despite using their computers and iPods) - but I am thinking of getting one for my wife since I know she won't appreciate the DIY nature of Android, and I'll be damned if I let a windows based phone in this house.

hey guys! too tired to type right now... you guys have a good one!

be back with fricky tips, I have lots that will help :D

Mornin y'all!

Well, no major issues with Zyler last night and his binge drinking, lol! So that's good. I went out to the shop last night to shoot the airguns a bit, and to my surprise the wife came out to join me! She never really had any interest in any shooting, I've tried but never pressed the issue. Well, we spent about an hour shooting in the garage, teaching her how to aim, sight picture, safety, trigger pull, how the gun works, etc. She had fun, and I had even more fun teaching her!

Make it a good one!
