Happy Friday DFK'ers ! I am loading up my pack and heading for the mountains! I need this trip BAAAAAAD! I am going a bit crazy and going to the mountains with just Jen is the best way I know of to reboot my brain. I wish it was a longer trip but I will take what I can get right now. We are even getting a little snow where we are going! It is going to be AWESOME!!!!! Here is a pic of Pete. He's my go to house/ dog sitter.

Thanks Y'all! I'm leaving tomorrow morning. It was raining up there last night. I don't mind snow but I do not have any desire to backpack / camp in the rain!
BTW, My cat caught a humming bird today! I am pretty sure that is like the pinnacle of bad a$$ for a cat.
Xander , you are right I have no clue when that was taken. lol

Wilson, that's "M" his VW truck. Started life as a '63 type II, was baby blue and a clean looking bus. It was chopped, sectioned, eviscerated, and put back together in this new configuration. We believe it was abducted by aliens and was returned to earth that way. But another theory is very similar, some Berkeley engineering students did it.

Finally getting caught up and back on track this morning at work. I hate getting behind first thing on a 10 hour work day, it never seems like I get back on schedule for my day. But thankfully a few things went much easier than normal so I'm good to go!

Bobby I hope you locate those knives soon! I have had that issue happen a few times and so far so good.

Nice weather! That's just a bit warmer than it was here but now is somewhat cold again. We got snow last night!
 
HOLY CRAP, what a contraption! I can't decide if I would drive till the wheels fell off or put it out of it's misery with some dynamite.
