A cougar is hanging out in the neighborhood up here.. the neighbors are freaking out.. 3 sightings in 2wks, one outside someone's window. Hope to see it myself in our yard, yikes! RUN BOYS! :)

Hope you jokers are all doing well, eats time.. been feeling horrible last night/today... sun is out and I'm a bum. :( lates.

The local dogs have been going nuts... we have several on my place. I kept the cats in last night!

Feel better and get some sun!
 
Had a run in with a cougar once in the hills south of Reno. I wasn't sure what to do, first encounter and all. When a cougar locks its eyes on you its made up its mind. So, I just stood there for a minute, then the only thing I could think to do was buy her a drink... :D :p

Good morning guys!

The only folder I really want at the moment is a DFK... and a Shirogorov... and maybe a William Henry Button Lock. These current fixed blades are going very well but look out for folders soon!

This just showed up in the mail yesterday, picked up off the secondary market and custom anno by BäKo. Been wanting a KCT for a while now, glad to finally get one!

Same here, can't seem to wake up!

But...the skies are clearing and its Friday so I need to get my ass into gear!
 
Me too! I have some strong coffee going but it is already late here. The last two days have been good but very long!

I'm back on handle shaping today... time to get dirty soon! :D Recurves and tantos are just around the corner!

I have a bunch of folders started... 17 have the holes spotted, center drilled, drilled to ream, chamfered, reamed, reamed again, drilled under, tapped, drilled for clearance... that kind of stuff! lol the drilling takes longer than grinding the blade and setting the lock... so they are getting closer! :D The 6 that are heat treated are getting close. Handles, sheaths, sharpening... back to folders. :D

I have been hand filing the chanfer on the opening slot of a bunch of folder blades! Dry ice is on the way when Sara gets back and I'll heat treat a group of blades.

lunch is next... then on to sanding those fixed blade scales. :D I may heat treat tomorrow morning instead depending on how it all goes.
