It's July 16. It's 68 degrees, light rain, no wind and everything is a green as if I was in Seattle. Only, I'm in Wichita. Where it should be 106, winds out of the south at 30 mph and everything as brown and as dry as lifeless as can be. Weird Summer.

Here's where Sam and I take our daily walks now.

Hoodie weather sounds soooooooo nice. At least it is not 105 like it was 2 days ago!
I am over this knife thing, I am going back to Pogs! I will be making custom Ti Slammers if anybody is interested. :D
 
What a day! We got a kitten and he's been a handful. Climbing everything! (Even my back; owww)

Got my AR pieces ordered too. Gonna be a glorious week of mail next week! DFK too!

What you guys up to?? Enjoying this glorious weather?
 
Hey guys! Just in from down the road... I had a great (and seriously long! thanks for the inspiration everyone!) day in the shop and went to a campsite my in-laws reserved down the road. The spot is spectacular and right on a river. I got in some fishing which was a blast!
 
Did you catch anything, D ? One of these days I am going to have to give fly fishing a try. It looks like so much fun.
I took the dogs for a walk and had to snap a quick shot of the sunset.

For the kitten climbing, double stick tape will keep it off of and claws out of things. Get a dedicated scratching post ASAP.

AR?!?!?! Ooooh, what did you get?! I am getting close to done with mine. Just ordered an AP Customs 15" carbon fiber hand guard. Still need stock, optics/mount, gas system, barrel nut, bullet button (CA legal crap), and ammo. What caliber are you going with? So many fun choices now :D

Getting so burned out this week, 8 days straight of work is tiring. Now, unlike Daniel, I don't love my job. I like it just fine, but not enough to put the time in like he does. I would love to be able to do what I love every day all day but it won't support the family as I would like it too.

5.56. I just got the bare bones coming from Surplus and Palmetto. It's going to be a work in progress. I am very excited for it!

I missed you guys yesterday but it was blast, blast, blast... fishing! I didn't catch anything but when it comes to trout fishing I don;t know a lot. I have caught more than my fair share of bass, perch and catfish back home in TX but these trout are sneaky!

Anyone have any connections in the Indiana area? I had a guy stick it to me on paypal and have just gotten nowhere after spending way too much time on this stuff. I bought an oxygen concentrator last October for my wife and it had a wait time... long story short he is keeping the money but not planning on sending anything in exchange. Paypal will not help even after a claim and a call. I have also talked to my local and his local police; they told me it was a civil matter and that I might have to take him to small claims court.
