Love blueberries! That's the number one snack food in our house, my son would eat a pound if we let him! I think I'm gonna make blueberry waffles tomorrow morning, thanx for the inspiration! I wish they grew well around here.

Get up knife people! :D I just did my morning workout, 3 sets of 20 thumb sweeps to keep my folder hand strong.

These blueberries do rule... I usually don't just eat wild berries I see but we thought these were chokecherries and were wondering why they were so good! :D

What's up folks! Just got home from the coffee shop, been up since 6. The wife starts her old job today, she's excited to be back onto real world schedule, no more of this 2am and coworker drama crap that really made the bakery a drag.

Off work today!

Gonna order some boolits for the pea shooter. Also considering taking the camera for a walk this morning, it's nice out. Been thinking about a large format camera again, maybe a 4x5 field camera. I'd like to make one, just need a lens and some film holders.

Anyways, y'all make it an exceptional day!

Sounds like you have a plan, X! Glad to hear the wife is happy again. 2am is too early for anyone! D:

Had an interesting checkup this morning. While leaving the Doctors office, I waited behind this kid. He got his papers, made his appointments, then left. When I got up to the receptionist I gave her my name and suddenly it was "OH SHIT TAMMY STOP THAT KID". Turns out, that kid had the same name as me and an appointment at the same time. He was kind enough to make my next appointment for me, and schedule my sleep apnea testing, LOL. Some people...

Do eet!

Though field cameras are a bit much to make - monorails are easier. Honestly, there are enough Speed/Crown Graphics on the used market for a hundred bucks (with lens) - that would be the way I'd go.

Yeah, but I want it at least somewhat portable and with all movements. I'd love to find a Gowlandflex for a reasonable price, but they're not as common as press cameras and monorails.

I did a bit of reading about the field cameras, those sound cool!

They are! And can be stunningly beautiful. This one is not mine, but I have the same model. It doesn't have the precision I need for my work, so it doesn't get used often - but I cannot bear to sell it. I've had it for 22 years now.

Thanks for sharing that! Talk about cool.

Nice rig Liam! Earlier I posted erroneously (actually auto correct did), I want to find a Gowlandflex camera, they are just too cool! Peter Gowland was an awesome photographer to begin with, something like over 1000 magazine covers!

But, today I halfway scratched the itch by finally pulling apart the taking lens on Yashica Mat124G. I guess medium format is still cheaper than large format film though.

The really cool cameras are the Ultra Large Format ones, like 20x24 inch film! Some of these guys take a team of three people with a couple hundreds of pounds of gear and hike for miles, spend a couple hours prepping and setting up equipment, then just wait for the light to get just right. Get maybe 2 or 3 good frames, then pack it up and head back.
