Putting auto correct into over drive are ya?!

Ok ok, I'll drink with ya, though I'm a rum guy...1-2-3-DRINK!

Cheers Wilson!

I'll be shooting my good ol' pre-64 Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga. (with a proper bead sight, no silly raised vented rib) with a 30" barrel as clean up man for the slow shooters and reaching way out there!

Hey guys!

IMWILSON - we all need to get together here more... that and I need to try some Knob Creek! :D

Nice Xander! I have been out on opening day many times... cool you are going and I hope you bag a bunch. We used to have property down the road from our farm with a stock tank and plenty of grains growing.

My Dad told me he is taking a 16 gauge he scored this year, it sounds wicked and about 80 years old... will remember the model later but it sounds like a nice one.

Dove season? Aren't they basically pigeons? Why get up so early and sneak around in muddy fields? There are thousands of them downtown.:D
Happy Labor day y'all .....I better get to laborin'
Rolf, I try....I try. :D

Hey guys!

Just got home from the morning hunt. Had an ok day, haven't done any wing shooting in a long time. Bagged 3, winged 2. Didn't lose any downed birds though! I really need a shorter barrel though. 20 birds taken this morning in our group, not bad, not great though.

I lurk frequently. The addition of this chromebook has made it possible to do so from anywhere >.>

Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend!

Morning fellas!

Man, my shoulder is sore! It's ok though, it felt great to get back out in the field. Haven't done it in far too long!

Make it great!

Hey guys! On a quick break... been working on a folder blade all morning... detent set, lock set, ground... clack! :D

Sounds like another productive day!

X, swapped the stock and grip out on my build now. Picked up a magpul carbine and regular pistol grip. They're very comfy and solid!

Nice! Which grip did you use, the MOE? I've been thinking a bit more about mine, it feels a bit small in my hand, but that's a good thing for when you wear gloves. For target use it can also benefit, by not having to stretch your trigger finger and influence the gun in any direction. I'm still waiting for my gas block, the manufacturer hasn't been answering the emails of the vendor I'm using, and their site crashed. No fault on the vendors part, he has his regular inventory order as part of this too, so he's also a little ticked off! Besides, it's only like $10 more from this vendor than buying from ebay, which if I can get it from a real store/business for close to the same price as ebay, I'll always go to the store.

Been a productive day! Fired one employee, getting stuff done and my arm is feeling better. I need to order ammo soon and hopefully go shoot this darn thing!

Well, my day has taken a turn... just got a message from the wife and she's down with a fever and nasty head cold, our corporate offices have "revamped" the safety program as well. In corporate lingo that just means there is going to be a lot more work. I now have to do 2-4 "routine safety checks" per week, 2 safety meetings per month, my same monthly facility inspection report, quarterly safety equipment inspection, and all my reporting procedures have changed. Did anyone ever think that a retail pet store would be such an unsafe place as to require this?! I know that it stems from the bigger picture that is our company (ag. production etc.) but it still seems a bit odd.

So, in light of all this extra work I have to do, here's a picture of a really cool Colombian bird, the Yellow Knobbed Curasow. I like these birds, their call is really strange, sounds like a bomb dropping in the cartoons! Plus they're funny looking and about 3 feet tall with a Jerry curl! I was shooting through small guage wire fencing, so focus was a bit strange looking.
