Funny... I know I responded to the last post here and don't see it? Hopefully my PM's are going out!

Nice on the sporting goods, our selection is limited here! We have some good Backcountry stores though...

I hope the gun is going well! Cool to see the pics!


Busy here, I got a group of fixed blades glued up yesterday after working on the all day... looking good!

Well, cleaning up some details on the gun turned into pulling the upper completely apart, pulling the barrel and redoing everything. Turns out that when I had the bone head moment last time (barrel nut not fitting over the barrel) I had bedded the barrel with loctite but couldn't put the nut on and having nearly 5 pounds of barrel sticking straight out in the vise blocks it drooped and then dried. The barrel was nearly 3/16" down at the muzzle! So, everything came off, cleaned up, remounted and bedded. Everything is good now. Practice makes perfect, but patience makes it right...

No baby yet but it really may be any minute! I've been in the shop on a non-stop grind-a-thon! I think I'm down to like two fingers that aren't burnt or cut, lol.
 
I was kinda thinking the same thing, maybe another Squatch bred in captivity! Lol!


Do you see a compensator on there?! :p it's 6.8spcII, max kill range on deer sized game is about 450 yards! I wouldn't try that with a 5.56... This is my new hunting rifle too.

I just got a great book, Knife Mechanisms just for the fun of it! by Leroi Price. It is even better than expected and just packed with non-stop information about folders and how they work. Talk about cool!

I also got in a video on knife embellishment by Allen Elishewitz, it is also just outstanding! I just finished it and will be putting what I learned into action soon! That is my second Elishewitz video and they are worth their weight in gold.


OK I'm really going to relax for a second... really. :D I swear!

oh man that Faith No More brings back some memories.....they are all foggy but... haha. I have their first album around here somewhere.
We are wishing the Fairly family a smooth and wondrous birth!
