Slow day at work, only going to be compounded by having to play cashier all night because the new guy is currently not allowed to run the register after some major screw ups and lying about it...I don't think he has much of a future with this company...

What's the good word Daniel? Any baby news yet?!

Rolf... after cutting stone (unpredictable material) I am pretty big on tight fitting glasses or even a full face shield, I use a full face respirator which doesn't allow anything in. I have had a few rock chips hit my in the eye as they went under my glasses...

Cool info on the bore lapping, I lap the folder pivots with 600 grit Clover Compound and a barrel lap. I have to get some Kroil, I hear it is good stuff to have around.

no baby yet! We just got back from the midwife and all looks good. Fingers crossed!

Clover compound is a popular one for lead lapping. If I can get a hold of some pure lead I have a couple barrels on old guns that could probably use it. Kano Kroil is handy stuff.

Daniel , I read your last posts about "smokes all around" with out reading the rest of the posts and I thought the time was upon us. Sorry for the false alarm y'all..:foot:

If you haven't seen it, don't watch it and spare yourself! It's pretty bad!

I may pick some up myself, but I need a new cleaning rod first, mine broke lol! Finding pure lead without having to buy it online and pay shipping is going to be the first thing though, I've heard that old large guage telephone line is pure soft lead. I have plenty of old dive weights and wheel weights but it's hardened with Tin and Antimony.
