Watch out for those Bali's!

Food - how about some bacon! I cured my own Canadian Bacon the other day and smoked it cold over Applewood... well worth the effort! I've been making a lot of sponge/French bread lately too... good stuff.

Big day in the shop Tuesday, lol yesterday I did a half day and fell asleep on the couch from 2 until 6. I think I still need some rest, lmao.

Go Ninja Go!

Whoa! Definitely unique. Wonder how she flips :p

My rotation

Customized Typhoon

A balisong popped up in a thread "somtin different" in the balisong section. Probably the nicest one I've ever seen. Just insane.
"bcccustom knives" was only his second post too!

Haha I was thinking midevil.
I was thinking about a balisong with tritium in the handles to flip in the dark.
That one from DanielFairlyKnives looks to have a glow inlay possibly?

Some big 3x23mm tritium tunes would be sick. Or the huge ones 64mm. Just can't drop it!

That's cool!

Nice collection Tmack!

That one I made flips with authority, :D .262" Blade for momentum. The spacers glow in the dark like nothing else and are my own proprietary material.

I'll be making more too, I have a few other projects coming up first but I have not forgotten! We had a Bali thread going here about it... my refined design is a lot like the prototype but will have a latch, more radiused scales and thinner blade.

Awesome!

Long handles 5.5+ balance close to the pivots, bushings, Zen pins.
Spring latch, 4.5-5. 5 Oz. .........

:D
My ideal specs lol.
What about having space in the handle somehow to add weight, and adjust balance. I've always wanted a balisong that you could tune to your liking.
Have it come with a handful of various weighted spacers, so you could swap out the titanium ones , for say copper and dramatically adjust the weight and balance.

I better write that down...

Good info! I have been considering using Ti and Stainless spacers to change up the weight. I really like the idea. I had not thought of copper... too cool. Those specs sound just right too.

D it's been awhile. We gonna see some sharp pics soon?

Soon come! :D I'm finishing up a bunch this week, 17 is my goal. TiBOK's will finally be finished along with Rigging and Kitchen knives! Backpackers are back in stock too, they are done besides final sharpening.

Also, if at all possible, maybe add a slight dip in the handles at the balance point, along with something to feel your hand placement. It's nice to feel like your hand almost sinks into the balance point. That way, when your off the balance point, it feels foreign, so your mire inclined to land right where you want on the transitions. Like have the pivot area square and thicker, then right at the balance point, have it slightly thinner and little more rounded. Then you can taper back to the thick at the bottom. That'll make it so the inertia of the spinning handles, doesn't let the knife slide down. And interchangeable spacers would be a game changer. Nice bushing system too!
Lol I could go forever with this I better stop!!

Just suggestions :D
With your workmanship, I know they will be awesome!
