Super glue mixed with blood doesn't harden fast enough. :p

I usually just let the knife get all bloody. It gets nice and sticky.
Duct tape and a little piece of napkin work well.

Did a glue-up last night for the big tanto. I am excited to see how this hidden pin thing looks with a finished result. D you are the man for that idea!!!

Excited for the weekend. Get some more workshop stuff in, and going to a friends housewarming party. You guys got any plans?
 
Going to the flea market this weekend to pick up a new trainer for my boy.

Also headed up to the reptile show to get my reticulated python I ordered. Good weekend!

My weekend is over, back to work tomorrow.


Was hoping to get out and do some shooting these past two days, but things didn't work out. Maybe I'll just go shoot people downtown, with the camera!

Speaking of shooting, after the first of the year (and paying off some other debts) I'm going to be starting another rifle project! Rebarreling my 30-06. Trying to decide what barrel length I want, the barrel will be 26" but I'm trying to decide if I want to go down to 22" or so. Waiting to hear back from a smith about the project, should be fun! Also need to decide on chamber specs, mostly neck and throat dimension.

Man I need to go shooting.
I completely hooked up my mossberg 590 pistol grip, full rail system, vertical pump, laser (that's right 1w 445nm! Will fry a hole in you) weapon light, and since then I've went out shooting once!!!

Yeah, I have yet to shoot my newly built AR15. Just can't seem to get the stars to align yet. Maybe I'll just head to the public range soon.

Yeah, but getting spoiled by shooting on a private range makes it feel like slumming to go to some of the public ranges around here. But, a bench and a backstop is the same...

Numbers are in, our insurance premiums are going up 49.79%.

I'm gonna need a second job at this rate, and forget about kids! It's gonna pay to adopt >_>
