So I've been checking out some knives on line just lookin around and stumbled on the Ganzo knives. Just wanted a cheap EDC for work. I ended up getting the G 746. It was $17 and free shiping. For a cheap knife it's not to bad, I know they rip off designs form other makers but for 17 bucks I couldn't pass it up. Anyone else have any El Cheapo's that ended up surprisin them ???

I've had a couple mtechs surprise me but I could never in good conscience support ganzo in any way.

In the future you may have luck with the search function this topic has kind of been "dead horsed".

Here we go again! There are plenty of cheap knives that don't rip off other designs. As a knife enthusiast, I choose to support reputable manufacturers. However, each and every one of us can make their own decisions.

You will find that most people here hold a very dim view about copies, clones, and counterfeit knives. Even to the point of considering all of them the same.

Personally, I don't care what you own but, expect some challenges if you pursue any discussion where they are the main subject. Good luck.

A day without a clone/rip off/copy/counterfit thread is like a day without sunshine...

Considering that this forum does not support "Cheap rip-off knives" and the fact that the last thing we need is what another "cheap rip-off knife" thread will turn into, maybe this should stop before it starts.

Everything has been said, and everyone has agreed to disagree....

Geez, honestly can't wait for the day
ganzo becomes standard sinic cosmic adventure gear
for the PRC's space program comrades.

I LOVE gonzo!

Hands down the very best Muppet! Kermit is over-rated. People who hate on Gonzo just have a bias against hooked beaks.

You can get original designs from Kershaw, Byrd, and Real Steel for under $30 that are very high quality...why buy a rip off Ganzo?

I just bought a few cheap knives. Can't support a company that makes fakes. Got these so the Cub Scouts can practice carving. The Spyderco and Benchmade are just eye candy.

Enlans are quite well built for the price
As as far as I know their designs are their own (please correct me if I'm wrong)

What are they at WallyWorld these days - 5-10 bucks (not the Spydie and BM)?

My wife's favorite knife is a Ganzo auto, but it's not a copy of any other knife. I bought it for her her with a clear conscience.

As for the blatant copies, I'll pass. Also, I have a hard time with them ripping off patented technologies like the axis lock, Spydie holes, etc.
