Definitely a win, and I'm glad I went with CK's canvas, its going to wear in nicely.
About a 7 on the blade and 8 on the cap lifter, but not uncomfortable and loosening up since flushed.
Thickness comparison with a mudbug is surprisingly not far off.

I'd say it is a solid 7 or 8 on the main blade and a 7 on the caplifter.

I agree with the others. I’d say the pull is between a 7 and 8. Just a tiny bit more stiff than I prefer, but not bad at all. Fit and finish is really, really good. GEC does such a wonderful job with Micarta.

Now to see how the pivot handles prying paint lids.

Well, it seems like 500 of the same knife at one dealer is my sweet spot for getting in on unannounced drops. I logged onto CK 22 minutes after the telegram arrived, and got myself on standby. I wasn’t expecting to end up with the sfo, nor was I expecting it to come so soon!

Yet another in a long line of great looking knives that I will never get a chance to buy. Must be nice to be one of the plugged-in guys who seem to get their hands on every cool new knife that is released. Oh, well. At least I get to enjoy the pictures! And for free! So thanks for sharing.

I think I prefer this latest run of natural canavas micarta. I wanted to see how much of a shine the micarta would take. A little elbow grease and it polished up nicely with some, 400, 600, 1500 and hand buffed with a little blue magic polish cream. The top one is from 2018 run and sports the same name of micarata “natural canavas” but much darker than this last run. it’s a user had smoother handles from EDC but the micarta polished up real nice with a clean rag and a little blue magic just for comparison.

Mine just arrived, and wow; I love this knife, size, fit and finish are great. First Sodbuster for me … I have already exercised the new feature and those caps have no chance! Great run GEC and knifeswapper !

Yeah, I really like the lighter version of canvas on these for sure, too.

strong but just a touch lighter than the standard 71. Subuster is also thinner in the pocket.
