Felt a bit silly paying the premium price for the Sudbuster plus the cost to have it modified, but hey, anything for a single blade, am I right?
I'd say it is a solid 7 or 8 on the main blade and a 7 on the caplifter. How’s the pull on these? I had a Farm and Field once thatI could barely open.
Yeah, I really like the lighter version of canvas on these for sure, too.I think I prefer this latest run of natural canavas micarta. I wanted to see how much of a shine the micarta would take. A little elbow grease and it polished up nicely with some, 400, 600, 1500 and hand buffed with a little blue magic polish cream. The top one is from 2018 run and sports the same name of micarata “natural canavas” but much darker than this last run. it’s a user had smoother handles from EDC but the micarta polished up real nice with a clean rag and a little blue magic just for comparison.
I'd often wished for a #71 Slim... Hopefully GEC will do a regular run of them some day.
strong but just a touch lighter than the standard 71. Subuster is also thinner in the pocket. How’s the pull on these? I had a Farm and Field once thatI could barely open.
