What people are asking you to do is to just move the piece of carbon fiber to the right. If the spring is installed the blade should fly out on its own. You have a dual action auto. We just dont know if its been disabled.
I think it's disabled then and I don't have the tools to open it

I would suggest not opening it. That particular kind of automatic tends to be fairly complicated. I wonder how it went from being sold for over 500 to being picked up for the cost of a pizza and a six pack.

Does the CF slide? It should pivot even if the spring is disabled. May take an bit more force than you would expect if it hasn't been fired for a while.

Push the CF slab in the direction of the arrow. It should move a few millimeters.

Yea agreed. And I know a lot of people think that knife is ugly but I like it. I wouldn't change the color if I picked it up.

I would not change the color either. I like it just the way it is.

It's an expensive, high quality knife by a well-known maker, customized by a well-known customizer. Anything you do to it at this point will only devalue it. I certainly wouldn't alter it at all. I would leave it as it is and use it, or flip it and get a knife you will use. Heck, you could probably sell it for enough money to buy several nice users.

Do you know how much and is it okay to sharpen? Professionally sharpened

That is one hell of a score. I'll give you $30 for it.
