I've lost $2,165 to the defective knives but I have lost many times that in time lost at work and money I had to pay for court filings etc. I'm not doing this for personal gain, I'm doing this to try to expose him for the benefit of everyone. I'm doing this for the people who he has done wrong and are embarrassed or don't have the means to fight. I'm doing this for the knife community and your reputation, I'm also doing this to send a message to my daughter, I want my daughter to stand up when someone tries to step on her face. This is a win for my family, the knife community and any customer who might have been done wrong. Thank you for all of your thoughts, support, encouragement and kind words. Stay tuned as I will look for other options to bring him to justice.

Only a retard with Zero Table Saw experience would ten hold a piece of stock that way for a rip cut on a piece of wood. You use the fence on their left to guide the cut let alone neither of them having any safety equipment!
To the OP, Chris of CWKs Not my friend Chris Williams, the real knife maker and grinder maker,
Has a history of threatening people that expose his BS about him making any of those knives!
He even threaten Sparks, The Owner of BFs, here in that thread about him using pre made blades for allowing that to written here…
It seems to be all bluster but it shows he has a lot to hide!
Damage, Thanks for going to court over this. Its a shame that you had to lose to expose this Fraud!

Mr. Damage109, Get your Private investigators, and your lawyers, to get the security footage, of the guy that you think was Chris Williams, arriving at the court house. It's good to know if the guy only arrived to ID you, and was ready to give up the case, in order to follow you.
I think he was here for different reasons but I'll be keeping an eye out for him. He told me months ago before all of this that he comes to basalt Colorado to fly fish which is about 130 miles from here. I think he assumed I wasn't going to court and when he realized I was here he fled.

He came into the courtroom thinking I wasn't there and had his confident walk going and he sat down for about 3 minutes and got up and left with his folder. I think he's been watching this thread and he saw that I might not make it to court and thought he would just slander me. I think he sat down and checked blade forums and saw me post that he was there and he realized I was in the courtroom. What are the odds of a man that looked just like him would show up dressed the same way this man dresses? What are the odds that this man would show up to a court room for 3 minutes? He obviously knew where he was, he showed up at 8:30 right when the case was scheduled. that courtroom has hearings all day.
Last time I was there was around 1pm. I got the restraining order, because I want to use my brain, I want to do things legally, But if I have to really hurt someone defending myself or my family it's on record. I've tried to deescalate things, I've tried to use my brain, I've used the law as a resource to protect BOTH parties. If any type of incident takes place and I hurt someone It's obvious that he came all the way from s.c. and I'm in the state I live in.

You may want to consider posting the communications you had with Chris Williams and or a copy of the restraining order, with personal info blacked out. It would lend further credence to this thread as well as highlight the treatment customers may encounter from Chris Williams Knife Co.
We all know his history of threatening and responding to people, his absence here at this forum alone is proof of my story and I will release paperwork so you have more than my perspective of events. Please check in every now and then.

You guys know this community and the experts in this community better than I do and I have a favor to ask. I want for a respected expert on this forum to analyze these knives. I will pay for your services and don't want a handout. I want to ship these knives to you and if possible I would love the findings to be posted on here. I've been reading this thread and some previous about him. I looked up his we site and when I saw his logo, it hit me. I met him at the SEWE show in Charleston SC 5 years ago. I talked to him for about 20 minutes because I had just made my 2nd or 3rd knife. I just saw his business card in a box while looking for a shotgun choke a week or two ago. Man, I'm sorry you went through that scrappy experience.
First because I don't think it can be said enough when this guy is brought up; This is not the Chris Williams of Wilmont Grinders! Man I feel for that guy having a heel like this with the same name and making shit knives...
Wow this guy seems to pop up every so often. I first heard about him when I had stencils made for my logo, the person that made them told me he gets his done at the same place so I googled him and found the notorious thread where he threatened to sue spark and everyone else on this forum. It was comical and this guy has some serious issues. I would look that thread up, it may be useful to show a pattern of psychotic behavior. I don't have time but remove the ()'s and put this into google to help narrow it down ("chris williams" sue spark site:www.bladeforums.com) if I recall it was something about "hand made" oyster knives that were actually blanks.
Also don't be too hard on yourself. I google and research everything, as a technology specialist its second nature and I have two thoughts on it. One is no matter what you try there is simply not enough time in the day to research everything you do. Second, despite my attempts to research everything or just do it myself, I still get burned from time to time because; see reason #1. You have gone above and beyond to get justice and I commend you for that, not enough people do and it allows scum bags to continue ripping people off. Just read this sub forum...
My last comment is on the damascus in your photos. I actually think that is real damascus based on what looks like cold shuts in your photos (weld not taking all the way). Hell one of them looks so bad it looks like its about to crack in half. I'm not expert in damascus but I do forge and have made some so that is my assessment based on your photos. As others have said its probably cheap offshore damascus so many of these crooks use and call their own.
However if you want to confirm they are actually dasmascus of some sort the easiest way to prove this in my eyes is to sand the pattern off, its only going to be a few .001"'s deep, and once it looks like plain shiny steel dunk it in ferric chloride. If its real damascus the pattern will come back. If its a fake pattern etched you will just darken the steel. Honestly I doubt this guy is doing that, its so cheap to buy garbage damascus I doubt he would bother. Sorry if someone already mentioned this, I only read the first few pages.
And one last thing for you. Don't post anything that would be considered private about this guy. There is a "cyber" crime known as doxing and if you post his phone number or his wife's name or something along those lines you could get in trouble. Redact that stuff and keep it to publicly available info and you should be fine.
Sorry for the book, I'm just fascinated by this stuff. I just can't understand how guys like this can sleep at night. It must be easy bouncing through life as a bobble head with no conscience... Well maybe not so easy now
