I purchased my first buck titanium 560 on eBay a month ago. I’ve wanted one since I was a kid. I open the knife to find the blade pin is loose. I could push it out with my finger.![]()
I return it to buck. Sylvia at warranty promised me to fix it or replace it from the archives. I get it back on the 23rd and decided to open Christmas Day.
I can’t be more disappointed
gedlicks , it could be that one.? Still, those rivets don't just slide out like the one in his photo. DM
Yet buck said the pin was OK and could not be tightened.
obviously the pin isnt ok.Yet buck said the pin was OK and could not be tightened.
The knife was not pressed right when they made it years ago. It is a factory flaw.

Prove it. The knife should have been returned with some kind of paperwork listing the status of your knife.

I’m about to throw this thing in a fn creek. I’ll just buy a benchmade andq not worry about some stupid rivet.

If it was bought new and sat on a shelf for 20 years until I open it and I find a loose pin. That means it was made loose to begin with. I didn’t fall off the turnip truck I got pushed.
Who does repairs.Something is fishy. I just looked at all the sold black 560's real close with careful attention to the pins and all had nice round heads on them and none looked like they would possibly just push out.
I would like to see closeup pictures of the sides of the knife in question as well as the faulty pin. It would be no big deal for Buck to put a new pin in it if that is all it needs. Or any of the
individuals we know that does repairs on Buck Knives.
If all it needs is that pin replaced than get it done and move on.

Why don't you post pictures of the actual knife? A close up of the pivot rivet would be nice as well.
Danny is one the best guys at the Buck Factory. period. Danny is one of the best people you will ever meet.
