No knives on this one but it's one of my favourites showing my son and Maisy walking together !

I noticed some people have incuded pics of animal tracks, seeing as how tracking is one of my favourite hobbies I have to add this pic, a Racoon and Deer must have been stood together discussing the weather !!!!

That's an awesome looking knife once again John and one hell of a generous gesture !!!

You gotta love it - a bunch of Canadians jumping at the opportunity to post pictures of winter "just because", with Stomper doing his best to draw our attention to the fact that we can enter the contest. Don't think poorly of us, guys - the snow does something to our powers of observation.

I only have 33 posts (took me years to finally grow a pair and post instead of just read) but here are some pictures that I think show why winter is my favorite season to backpack/camp in

I managed to find a good one I had on my computer.

It was december 22nd of last year, and my best friend had just gotten home on leave from the USN. It had been the first time I'd seen him since june, and we tore up the ann arbor bars, and when closing time hit we went to the liquor store to get some booze to bring back to his girlfriend's place. For whatever reason, the bottom of the cardboard four pack holder decided to fall apart, and my four bottles of Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter (great winter time beer), broke apart on the snow covered sidewalk. It was now past 2am so no more alcohol could be bought, this was a sad night.
