Actually it has been the best years of my life. When I married Connie, I got the bonus of two fantastic stepdaughters, Angie and Becky. The highlight was when Angie got married and asked me to give her away. She said I was more of a dad to her than her real dad. It`s things like this that make life worthwhile. Connie has been very supportive of me trying to make a go of knifemaking, a big change from making over $80K a year in my last job, but not one complaint. I`ve been blessed.

(and no, she is not reading this over my shoulder :D)

I don't have any knife pics to show but here is some in memory of the birch tree that sat in front of our house until it decided to break the top off, sail across the top of our house and smash the windshield of the in laws new Rav 4 and not the '93 Nissan Altima that was right beside the tree. (Juli took the pics as it was when I was still wheelchair bound)

Is it OK for me to post- I'm Canadian and I'm not sure if we are included yet or not- I can only read big, bolded instructions and I don't see any, even though I read the thread twice ;-)

She's a mutt.
I brought her home after playing with her and finding out the litter was going to be killed.
(I'm a bigger sap that I would like to admit)

Her mother was mostly black lab mutt, her father suspected mostly Shepard/retriever mutt.

We mostly called her a white Shepard, because she had the sharp nose and pointy upright ears.

No!!! I spent the entire weekend crowded in West Edmonton mall shopping for cloths for my wife! and now my next days off are next Tuesday.

I feel bummed!!! when does the contest end?
