Christmas knives

Though it is the day before Christmas as I post this, just wondering if anyone has received any knives as Christmas gifts, or suspect that that present under the tree, with YOUR name on it, contains a knife.

Being single I sorta gift myself each Christmas, This Christmas instead of going for one expensive knife, usually a custom, I decided to get a couple quality production knives, and to also add to my growing flashlight collection.

One good thing about selling your collection of knives, besides paying off those pesky medical bills, is starting over. And this time picking the knives you liked the best from your former collection, while adding some new ones at the same time. The two I "received" this year were ones I've had before and liked enough to get again. One is a fixed blade; a Browning Crowell/Barker Competition Cutter. Though I will not be doing much cutting from now on, I will still need it for the coming Zombie Apocolyspe. The other knife is a folder; a Fox/Citadel Deimos in micarta scales. The flashlights I added are; a Nitecore EA4W Pioneer (860 lumens from 4AA's), and a Fenix PD-22 (190 lumens from 1 CR123).

So again, what have you already received, and/or do you expect anything sharp to be under the tree!!

I've read so many great reviews on the Becker BK2 that I had to have one. If Zombies come, I don't care.
My baby Spyderco would not have frightened them nearly to the extent that this BK2 will. It even scares me.

I'm not expecting any Christmas presents at all, except I think one from my wife, and it certainly won't be a knife.

My gift to myself, a 707 Sequel, is sitting under the tree. I'm also fairly certain my younger brother is giving me a spring-assisted knife of some sort.
 
My wife surprised me with the news that I'm currently awaiting my first Swamp Rat. A Ratmandu, Moss green with custom orange/black scales. She had overheard me talking about wanting one, so I should have it in January sometime! She is the best. In response, my gifts to her are costly, a new necklace from Tiffany's, and a Bulova watch. We spoil each other.
 
I'm way too picky for people to buy knives for me but I placed an order with Todd gdula for a custom kwaiken as a xmas present to myself.

Bobby T collab from pops and a subhilt from my gparents!! Have wanted both for quite sometime so Im a very happy camper : ) still hopin santa leaves me a goody : )

No knives for me. My wife doesn't even pay attention to what my hobbies are, much less what specifically I'd want..lol
 
I don't let people get knives for me, I'm WAY too picky. I gifted myself some pretty awesome stuff this year, including two I've wanted for a very long time.

I picked up a Rockstead Higo in October and said that was gonna be my biggest gift and then found a really nice Hiroaki Ohta model 20 at a price I couldn't say no to :)

I also managed to add a nice grayman dua a week ago and I'm working on getting myself one more nice custom from a maker I've liked for years but never been able to snag a piece :D
 
I have a Case Tuxedo sitting under the tree. It's a pattern that has been in my cart several times but ends up not getting ordered.

My brother might be getting me a knife, not sure though. I got him something he's been wanting for a while. Not gonna say what it is though since he will probably read this. I'm sure it will be posted tomorrow.

I got a spydero civilian and a waved matriarch 2. Those "S" curves sure look mean. :)

Coming in the mail:
HTM AXD 5.5. I wanted a big folder....
Freemont Knives Draper folder, 3" blade
OCMK Jackal folder, 2.5" blade

The Freemont and OCMK are production folders that you usually don't see. I've been on the lookout for some different, smaller folders. I'm pretty tired of the same old stuff that has been coming from the mainline manufacturers.
 
Have a Tram machete on it's way,opened a BK9,Cold Steel camp shovel and mid size ax,and this month have gotten a BK2 and 11,Schrade SCHF10 and 14,Ka-Bar Dozier folder,Spyderco Tenacious and a few others I'm not supposed to know about yet (LMAO,she gave me a budget and told me to pick my own gifts-which is what I did for her as well-and I was in a knife buying mood since I hadn't had any new ones in years :D )
