Christmas knives

I am currently waiting for a custom knife that I commissioned in June for my Birthday/Christmas gift. It should be here by Monday.

Is that a new XM-L2/burst mode QT2L-X I see you got? Is it your first Quark? I love quarks, I've owned several of 'em in the past, now I EDC the pro version of the one (foursevens actually gave me this one pre-release for evaluation) and I have the tactical version on my AR carbine. I was using a sleeve in a VLTOR offset scout mount but I got a new Gear Sector E-series scout mount for Xmas so the VLTOR is going on my 18" 870 with a solarforce L2T I built (specifically built the light for HD, its a 15kHz strobe only, no normal mode)
 
I didnt get any knives, but got my first Spyderco Sharpmaker.
Havent used it yet.
I have big expectations though, seeing how highly thought of it is. :)

wife got me a ONTARIO RAT 1.and a very cool COLD STEEL hard plastic KARAMBIT. and she also got me a hard plastic sheath by SOG for my SOG Fast Hawk.

And I bought myself an old pivot umnzaan.
Pretty great Christmas for me. Especially getting to spend the entire day with my whole family.
 
Having a January 2nd birthday used to suck growing up, but now, the combination Christmas/birthday presents are great; Wicked Edge, ZT, and Kershaw!

No knives this time, but I got things to pamper the ones I already have. I got a Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition, and a set of spare belts, also a Stropman 4Stroke strop that's still in the mail somewhere..........
 
I didn't get any knife stuff for Christmas (I have enough already and no one else would know what to get for me anyway), but I did gift a NIB Kershaw Cryo to one of my nephews who came by to visit today. I had bought it when it first came out but never carried it. He was quite happy with it. I didn't even know he was interested in pocket knives.

Dang man that's better than what my girls got me, I could use a few more dogs, wanna trade my two girls for your dogs?

My mom got me a lot of dog sweaters (no joke), 2 of our 3 dogs are strictly outside dogs but one of those two is shorter hair so he wears a sweater when its really cold but he's a strange size so my mom bought a lot of 'em figuring I'd get one or two that fit him, out of the large flat-rate box full of sweaters/jackets only one fit, a second would have worked for a girl dog but being a boy Mota would of pissed all over it the first time lol.

And my uncle gave me a bag-o-knives from his collection. There is an old m6 bayonet and the middle one is a ww2 case xx quartermaster knife. The two one the right are handmade
