Thanks Bob, those are by Samuel Barlow, Enos Furness, (that might actually be Enoch Furness, I did some research on it some years ago, but forget now), Squire Elijah Oates, and George WostenholmI am always glad to see the fine craftsmanship of days gone by. Wonderful collection

Hey, that's a nice one. I'm glad you're still liking it.A Gunboat Canoe, made by Rodgers & Wostenholm for the US NKCA in 1978,
I hope your knives don't all go in a skip when you move on, may your departure be far off.Er...I don't actually know how many knives I have!I tried to get a BIT more organised a few years ago though, and bought some Dymo tape!

There are about 40 cigar boxes, with the knives inside roughly classified, then there are a couple more with the knives I'm currently carrying regularly. A few knives are still in the boxes/tubes they came in, or in pouches, and knife rolls. Then there are several hundred more contained in 5 storage units like this (below), plus two similar units. They are roughly classified, according to type, clasp knives for example, or Scout knives, but a couple of the units just contain an assortment.

Fixed blades knives are in various cupboards, drawers, and boxes, in two rooms, (plus really big knives, and axes, in another room), and there are 2 large boxes under my bed with Sheffield table cutlery and kitchen knives. There are 2 large shoeboxes containing knives that need to be cleaned-up a bit, in another room, and at any one time, there are around 50 knives just kind of lying around, on my desk, coffee table, kitchen table, etcLiving alone allows me to get away with it!
