I see that the estimated release date has been moved to mid-June. That’s okay. I’m pretty confident that these will be worth the wait.
 
Yeah I pre ordered a Lava CF version right after watching the video. That Mike at Collector Knives sure is one hell of a sales men. Mind you he's dealing with some pretty willing customers eh.:D:cool:
 
That did sound quite interesting Rick I have to agree. I also think it's got a great name considering little Road Runner trick the blade does at half stop when the knifes set just right. Lol.:D

No, and I couldn't afford them if they said they were ready - so I am being VERY patient..... But they did tell me soon after June last time we discussed them. But they are in a much more restrictive situation than we are currently due to china virus.

I really liked all the options that ended up shipping but I went with the lava. So unique.

Mike, I made a commitment to purchase one and I followed through with it. I’ve bought a fair number of knives from you and have always been pleased with the customer service from CK. Unfortunately, this will be my last. Xenophobic rhetoric should not be used here or for that matter anywhere.

I kept my commitment, but I definitely hesitated this time.
In the end I'm sure I'll be happy to have it. Hopefully I'll hang on to it longer than the other Modern-ized Traditionals I've had in the past.

I appreciate the kind words. These just rolled in last night, but I was immediately tickled with them. Every maker and every pattern has its plus/minus. If we all liked exactly the same thing it would be very boring around here.
