Out here in San Francisco pier 39 and there's a knife shop called "We be Knives" and came across these fellers, the BK2 had Tommythewho handles and was going for $200.00

Fer realz?
I was right there TWICE this summer and had no idea... Maybe this year.

There's a cutler somewhere in the middle of town, but I forget their name.

My mom went to El Salvador to see my grandfather and brought me back this blade, it was my great great grandfather's. any info on it besides being made in Germany? my mom told me that it was the knife my great grandfather used to carry on him and hunt with it.

I think I might be addicted to police trade-in guns. Got an M&P 45 on the way now, $340 from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore and I've been scouring the net looking for other deals. The Glocks came in the other day and I was very pleased with their condition, the G21 especially. I'd post pics but I usually use facebook to host and I deactivated my account for the time being, taking a break from that for a bit.

I'm the only person that's posted in almost 7 hours. Did the apocalypse happen while I was napping and I'm the only one left?

ah, two days of sleeping over 12 hours, because, the pleasure of it :D

good old solingen rostfrei steel!

Hey! That's Solingen with a capital "S" and rostfrei just means "rust free" - stainless. My mom was born there (ok, Wuppertal - which borders it and of which Solingen is kind of part....) and if you've got even a small collection of knives, there's a really good chance one of them was made there. SAK's, Böker, Henckels, Wüsthof, Anton Wingen, Eickhorn, Puma and any number of other fine pieces of kitchen cutlery and hunting knives. The City of Blades.....it's not surprising that I am a knife nut, considering my heritage. Used the Anton Wingen stag handled carving set my grandfather brought with him to carve the thanksgiving bird - I have a similar set my grandmother passed on to me after her death. Doesn't get much better than being marked as "Solingen"....for me at least ;).

Solingen, Seki, and Sheffield -- 3 homes of fine cutlery for many a year.

Anybody know what this sheath fits?
