Hey Guys.
It's been a while. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
Got a favor to ask...
Can someone with a scale and a bk14 please give me some weights?
Weight with scales?
Weight with scales and sheath?

Friday, I headed down to Alabama and rappelled with a friend a couple of bluffs in Cheaha State Park, which is the highest point in the state.

The first pitch had two drops, a short bump down to a landing, where I set a change of direction to rappel a longer bluff. All told, it was about 110'.

We also rigged and rappelled a similar two-drop bluff that was around 160' total.

There's an even better bluff that poses more of a rigging problem. We didn't have time to tackle it, but maybe next time...

Great looking area. Amazed that the leaves are still on the trees. Are those sandstone or limestone cliffs?

So I was trying to find my missing BK15 today (moving sucks!) and I found a BK15 I didn't remember having! Still don't know where my user is [emoji35]

I'm still missing a Benchmade folder from my most recent move 6 months ago, I know the feeling. Thankfully I have an overabundance of knives so I'm not hurting for it but it still is a well-loved user.

I'm missing a 15 also. Another user but still missing it. I wish it would show up... Should we start a missing knife support group? :'(

I still can't find my XM18...
Never lost a knife before this one.
Of course it couldn't be a cheap-o.
Had to be the Hinderer. Frustrating.

in other news - FIRE!!!

this is the pretty side of the smoker -- gotta love a mulberry fire.
(the other side has a pair of 18 lb turkeys slowly cooking)

I didn't lose a 15 - 'cause they never leave my EDC bags. I did, however, find one I didn't remember I bought when I was getting shtuff together for the Fall Northeast Gathering. I vaguely remembered some, erm....less than sober Exchange perusal that netted me that one....I figured since I didn't know I had it and I wasn't jonesing for another, I'd pass it along to a very deserving Beckerhead - so I did.

Now THAT is a humongous suck pill to swallow. And here I am bumming a little 'cause I can't find a couple Spydercos I wanted to sell. All I have now are pictures...hoping they'll turn up.

I've lost a Leek and a Chive at work....but I know where they went. One is in 16" of blown in fiberglass in an attic in Skowhegan, Maine - and the other is at the bottom of a wall cavity in Littleton, NH. I'm a lot more carefuler at work now.
