real lumbersexuals don't wear plaid, they wear technical fabrics and kevlar stuff and magical boots and proper eye protection and a helmet.

Someone looks vaguely like a reddish Stay Puft Marshmallow Man... or perhaps Pillsbury Doughboy... I'm not sure which..but definitely reddish.

Kinda reminds me of Randy, who was Ralphie's little brother on "A Christmas Story", when his mom had so many layers of warm clothing on, he couldn't put his arms down to his sides, haha.

Don't lick the lamppost!

Not I, but I'll keep my eyes open. They don't get replaced very often.

I'll have to check the garage when I get home... I've got a stack of them in there from various places the Army took me, including USAREUR (US Army Europe) and Hawaii (two of my "overseas" tours). I may have a Texas one that came off a vehicle when I got reassigned from Texas to Hawaii.

Appreciate it fellas! They are not easy to come by... Especially on this side of the country lol

Happy Turkey day fellas!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I'm thankful for this forum and all you snarker snakers in it!!

I think I might have one actually. I'll look

A happy turkey day? Let me know if you have an extra, would you?

WW and daizee - I've got a few you can choose from...first come first served. I'll PM a photo shortly. If you let me know where to mail it, I'll get them out to you next week.

I did just Google to verify legality...and I'm not a lawyer, but the way I read it is that plates older than 7 years (mandatory replacement) don't have to be returned. I did have to turn in the existing plates on my primary car when I got my "disabled veteran" plates, but otherwise it's wait every 7 years and get new ones rather than just a window sticker.

This, of course, reminds me of a story...of course nearly everything reminds me of a story at my age.

On one of my business trips to White Sands, I was issued a leased 4X4 pickup with a New Mexico plate on the back (they don't have a front plate there). A day or two later I was walking by the parking lot heading to lunch and saw a pickup that looked just like mine but with a Texas plate on the front. I walked over to check it out and, sure enough, it was my truck with the mis-matched plates. It seems that it was titled in Texas and issued two plates, then re-titled in NM and the rental car guy didn't think about removing the front Texas plate when he switched out the rear for the NM plate. I'm wondering how that would have turned out if I'd had a law enforcement "interaction" for some other reason, like speeding, which I never do, of course....

Awesomeness GSO! You rock, thank you brother!!

And it prolly would depend on which plate they seen and which state you currently were in... In NM and they see the Texas not so good... In Texas and they see NM... Same lol

Out here in San Francisco pier 39 and there's a knife shop called "We be Knives" and came across these fellers, the BK2 had Tommythewho handles and was going for $200.00

Everybody knows that by adding TTW scales it increases the value of the knife by 500%...:D
