Here, I bought this from Luck or Lucky, JG scales..but it's a factory 2nd for $500...overpaid but I'm happy......then got tight on fund...sold it for $475 and eat eBay fees...

I admit, I'm a PM2 addict..

I love these knives...these max out my credit cards....I like to customize too...so do I need to get a knifemaker account too.

What an odd thread.

Seems to me that the main argument is that E4L is using his BF membership to primarily buy/sell and according to site definitions that is a "dealer." As such, he should pay for a "dealer" membership.

His threat to leave if Mods determine he needs a membership upgrade seem silly to me.

That being said, I don't really care what he does. If I don't like his practices I will not transact with him.

Carry on.

I don't think BF would turn away any added money you sent its way. :D

Nice PM2 collection.

Here, the top knife 960 LE and the bottom onslaught LE I sold KERSHAW GUY! At a lost. I think I lost very big like $90 on it cause I needed money during that time. I think he even posted a thread here how happy he was......

The middle knife I got in a trade. Member say its new but not...I traded my Microtech for it....member say he will pay me $25 credit to even it out....but he cancel BF membership...sucks. I think his username is Laurin....

I'm not saying he needs to stop what he's doing. I'm just glad that more people know what it is that he's doing. He's free to do it, we're free to talk about it.. freedom is great like that.

C'mon guys....is this really necessary? This is a community...I respect that. If anyone not happy for my actions....report me to mods. For those that dealt with me...I'm very easy...and I make payment FAST!!!!!for those who want to unload, thin out your collection..."I TAKE IT".

I guess anyone that sells a knife on BF can refuse to sell to him if he/she doesnt like his way of business!

I so agree with Kelama. Whats the point in this kind of an exchange: is it to allow wholesale sharks to forget community and turn it into another ebay.? If it's not about our collective passion it is just about profit.

Thanks man...I spoke with John when I place an order for the Norseman....I send him this pic....he said that the Spider scales was his early ones...he only made one or two sets....and the blue TI is his favorite.

Hey bud, I think the first thing one should do to support BF is join as a annual paid member. You make it sound like I am buying all the knives on the exchange. If I recall correctly, it's like my 2-3rd "I take it" of the month.

Look, when a good deal like today pop up, it's like money on the ground...would you take it. Kelama was third...not even second. Why get so sour...If I did not take it, 2nd member would.

Join BF, become a member....

See, that's what you don't understand. When I see a knife for sale in the exchange for a great price, my first thought is usually, 'I'm not in the market for that model, but someone who has been looking for one is going to be happy and have a great day!'... Not, 'Wow I could totally re-sell that knife and make a few bucks! Free money!!!'

Kelama, why do you care? Did he do you wrong? Otherwise you are just whining that he figured out something that you didn't. How to make a few dollars to feed a hobby, and maybe pay a bill or 2.

It's no different than the people that buy 2 knives when they find an amazing sale, and keep one then sell the other. Why do you think there are so many NIB knives both here and Ebay. Not all of them are dealers for the manufacturers.

Go away until you have a legit gripe, or just have fun here instead of trying to bust folks.

+1
I don't have a dog in this fight, I personally don't dislike E4L or even what he's able to do.
I only dislike that he seems to be successful at it because it makes me realize how much freakin' money I've dumped into this place by buying impulsively, coming to my senses later, and selling at a reluctant loss. :(
Dude seems to have something figured out that I don't, but I can't hate him for it.

Well said. I don't personally know Estate4life but if he's buying blades it's none of anyone's business what he does with them off this site after the fact, unless the mods deem otherwise and require a dealers membership. That's between him and the mods though, it's none of my concern. Whining about missing a sale because he happened to snap it up first is just petty.

I have nothing personal against Estate tried to do a trade with him once when he first joined didn't work out but he was personable and it seemed to me at least he was being fair . Not a fan of adding cash to trades is all that kinda turns me away from dealing with someone but to each their own I say.
