We are working on a three hundred (actually 358) piece custom folder run and this is the first time I have told anyone outside of my inner circle..

If you had communicated your point more clearly, "Snody's website is difficult to navigate and turns me away from purchasing his knives" people would probably be giving you a lot less of a hard time. Instead you stated your point in such an ambiguously muddled manner that people were able to draw many negative conclusions about what you were trying to say. Clarity is critical.

I agree. Being smug and insulting about something which a person knows nothing about is not a good way to earn respect around here. It is a surefire way to bring on the wrath of those that do not tolerate these kinds of "questions".

Then you really need to reconsider the tone of what you write here.

A simple "can anyone tell me about Mike Snody and his knives?" would've been sufficient, but you started this thread with a very cynical (at best) post. What conclusions do you expect people to draw?

Asking about bail bonds, does the guy even make knives, the website sucks that is the kind of attitude that we don't need around here. Therre are plenty of ways to be polite and not insulting while learning. Payng member or not, rudeness is not wanted, needed, or welcome here. Being a paying member should hold people to a higher standard in fact. Think twice, post once; everyone is watching.

ive had enough of this. most of you are forming your opinion on the first page of the thread, and the way that mike read my paragraph. i wasent insulting him. and for some odd reason, everyone seemed to understand that untill mike put up a video response. you all start commenting on this thread calling me a jerk, when you yourselves completely miss the point of my original post. i sent mike a private email last night, detailing an appology for any disrespect he may have thought i meant by this thread. and for any of you who actualy stuck with this thread, know that when i started it, i had no idea who he was. and now i have a respectfull view of him. but most of you dont know this. why? BECAUSE YOUR ONYL READING THE FIRST PARAGRAPH.

You are making a lot of assumptions about what we are thinking. I read and posted in the thread before snody did, I didn't think your where being respectful at all, rather it sounded like you thought he was catering to the wrong crowd. Obviously you have changed your opinion, however if you had been more clear in your original post nobody would be giving you a hard time. Most people are not going to read through the whole thread just the first and last page. People were being polite, not approving or understanding.

You voiced an opinion and others voiced theirs' in response. You're taking it all a bit too personally and reading everything as an attack. That's never a good thing.
