Bar? If it's a chain then we don't have em here afaik.


Anyway. The dog fits now but probably won't in about two months when he's 80#.
Any suggestions for a 3 person backpacking tent that doesn't cost $600 or weigh 8#?



ETA: Tent must have good ventilation... T-Rex can fart a whole floor of my house uninhabitable!

Dont know whats wrong with dog yet.
they thought muscle or nerve in shoulder/neck.
he hasnt laid down for 2 days,no sleep either.
he's eating and shittin and walkin ok.
xray showed stomach was full of food.
doc said not to feed him yesterday and hope he empties
his stomach.
he didnt sleep again last night,standing or pacing
all night long.
doc gave some pain meds but does seem to help anything.
i go back tomorrow to see if stomach is emptier.
just got back from a walk,he is starving,begging for food!
doc said i could givehim half a breakfast this am.
anyway,we will see.
thanks for the concern.
 
About the dog, I'd start googling the symptoms. Doctors are only human maybe he is missing something? Good luck.

Fug,

This just makes me squirm in my chair, man, I am sorry to hear he is suffering so much.

I hope things change for the better soon.

My Australian Shepherd has gone through some hip issues lately, where she doesn't want to lye down at all. I do about 10 minutes of deep massage on the site of pain which allows her to lye down, and get up comfortably.

A lot of times nerve and muscle and often times joint issues won't show up with current tests.

Fug,

I really hope everything is going well. I googled the symptoms you listed and the responses ranged from arthritis to temporary nerve damage because the dog ran/bumped into something. One person used an old comforter, to ball up, to make a tall bed where the dog could sleep almost standing up.

Right now in Barcelona its nice! going to grab some beer with my brotha... and kill him if he does not give me back my Horton.
 
Good thoughts sent for your dog Fug. I hope the situation comes out on the up and up as soon as possible. Filthy muggy in IL....feels like 95...ugghh...barely had a Spring.
 
Packing here, loading up a "Pod" for the move into the new house. Getting crap out of the current house so we can have it painted, do flooring, and get it on the market.
