these neckers i just finished,,, i had to flat grind them,,, hollow grind the belly's, heat treat em,, ,, then finish the noses,, then convex the edge,, to make them hang with a hollow chisel grind,,,

4 times the work, but 10 times better looking :thumbup:

Jeremy, how does the end user sharpen a convex chisel? I'm guessing convex the one side and strop or ceramic the flat??

Our big spiral mixer is down. I haven't put a gun to the repairman's head yet, but i may handcuff him to the machine until he get's it working.

Right now I'm trying to stay between him and the door in case he makes a run for it.

Big bad boy. Still not fixed. he says he's down to one wire he's tracing to find the remaining problem.

He's been working on it for 7 hours. Not a cheap fix.
