Finally, after almost 5 months. Uncle Sam finally gave me permission to pick-up my .44 mag. Kind of kills any excitement you may of had, after such a long wait,,,

I'm surprised you didn't. In my experience, form 1's are usually approved a little faster than form 4's.

you cant just send for an FOID card and then go buy
a handgun? I understand you have to wait a few days to
pick it up,but 5 months???
GREAT speaker! two of his books (On Combat and On Killing) are required reading for the Marine Corps. He also has a CD called Bulletproof Mind that you can buy or listen to on youtube. You guys should really check this stuff out. Grossman trains seals, CIA, SAS, and other spookies about the psychology of combat. :thumbup: The guy is a Dr. of Killology for God's sake!!
