Believe me, I understand the skepticism. I'm probably the least gullible/credulous person you'd find. I'm just saying, if he's telling the truth, I'd hate to pile on. If he's not, he's a bigger dirtbag than anyone thought.

IMO, even if he's telling the truth here, he's still got no excuse for the delay before that, and for the extremely poor packing jobs also described in this thread. There's no way I'll deal with him based on that alone.

Exactly. OP still doesn't have his refund.
 
10 days with no refund. It takes minutes. The seller would need to be the one incapacitated to excuse such a delay.

You all may be (and probably are) right, but what the heck, the points have all pretty much been made. If the guy is dishonest, and would lie about his father to cover it up, it's inexcusable. If he's telling the truth, I'd give him at least a partial pass. Only he knows the actual truth.
 
doesnt matter if its true or not as the cncguy said...hes not coming back...unless he is lying about that but only he knows.......

hopefully the op gets what he is owed.

Bastards? Circle jerk? Class act all the way here... My problem with this thread is if the OP isn't going to leave bad feedback, the mods should ban this clown. Maybe he goes away and never comes back like he said... maybe he lies low for a couple of months and comes back to screw over someone else. He has stated he has made his last post, why not ban him? He has lied about the refund. What else has he lied about? One less unreliable member to deal with.

You are being very compassionate, and that isn't a bad thing, but even if you throw out everything before today(which is a lot even without the latest crisis), you still land up with him saying he refunded the money and has not. There is no excuse for that IMO. The OP seems to know his way around and realizes that he will win the PP case and not be out any money, but it looks better for the seller even at this late date to issue the refund.

I finally got my refund today from paypal, cncmaster43 sent me an email saying he put the money on his account but didn't know how to refund it, either way i knew paypal would eventually rule in my favor, I paid on the 4th and I got the refund today so almost a month, hopefully everyone will see this before dealing with cncmaster43.

I don't believe he dropped it off, but if I ever get it I'll ship it right back to him.
