Cold Steel ideas for next years lineup ?

A Ginunting or Binagon style machete would be really cool. Really like their line of machetes as they are really affordable to be used (hard).

Agree. I would like to see a new Barong or something from Mabuhayland.
I do like to see a modded Spartan and Kukri.

I'm down with the Scimitar/Talwar rebirth - linerless g-10, triad lock, snag plate and 5-6 inch ffg blade. And bring back the bowie machetes. And I like that GI bowie idea.

I sent Demko and CS detailed pics of my Spartan "Fresno Felon" mod. Andrew said it did get LT's attention.

I've been thinking here lately about how CS likes put little effort out as far as steel is concerned what if at the very least they offered say the Spartan in SK-5. I mean they use SK-5 a ton in their fixed blades, how about a modern folder offered in it. I mean Spyderco has offered Hitatchi Super Blue so it's not totally blasphemy to put make a modern folder in carbon steel.

Kudu with a tall navaja-esque clip point similar in shape to their Espada series.

I agree with Stabman and would like to see some of their machetes made with a higher grade of steel, say 1075 like Imacasa.
A Ginunting machete is something I've wanted to see in production for a looong time.

smatchet, smatchet, smatchet, smatchet, smatchet, smatchet

(i was doing a little chanting there)

Also instead of the GI TANTO they should make a GI Bowie. Something like this with say a 10-inch blade and under $35

this is a great idea, I don't know why they haven't done it yet.

If you look around you'll see tons of people lamenting the loss of the Light Terrain Chopper (LTC). It was a khukuri shaped Carbon V blade which was 1/8" thick. It was and is fantastic. They could easily bring back that model plus others in SK5. That thickness with a good steel makes a very useful combo. In the proper design, like an LTC, it cuts whispy plants and chops wood equally well.
