Cold Steel products YOU want to see?

I would very much like to see something similar in concept to Benchmade's Triage. Rescue hook, strong blade, glass breaker/pointy pommel. Right now the American Lawman's my favorite CS knife and given the LEO/first responder leanings it might make a perfect base for such a thing.

I would like to see blades like the Mackinak and Code 4 not hollow ground. Sabre or flat ground would be great. Also a spear or drop point Warcraft please.

A large, heavy duty chopper. (Ie, 15-20 inch overall, 0.25+ thickness.).

All titanium or steel (Quality steel handles.) version of any of their folders with the Tri-Ad Lock.

I think a folder that just screams heavy duty could be cool -- big, bulky, heavy duty folders seem to be quite popular nowadays, but most of them are frame locks (The Crusader Forge kind of folders.). A full steel/titanium heavy duty folder with the tri-ad lock would be awesome.

For example; take the Recon 1 large version, or Spartan, make the handle all titanium or steel, increase blade thickness to .25 inches, along with some different blade styles and steels.

Cold Steel folders are probably already extremely heavy duty, but this would make it much more obvious.

The biggest thing would be upgraded steels, also a better coating than that cheesy black paint like some kind of titanium nitride would be great. USA and japan only production would be ideal (for any manufacturer) but I dont see that being a possibility. I would love to see mega folders with vg10 and g10, that would be worth it if the prices were kept under $200.

Would you like some stars with that sun and moon?

I would love to see a recon 1 with a more wear resistant steel like 154cm or a3. It could be called the recon 2 :) the perfect recon would be a USA made recon with a more wear resistant steel.
Recon+ would be a better name

Definitly need some full tang bowies. Or at least get rid of that wire thing they have. Also, licensing the wave would be great for the people here in ma. The wave is legal here but the plate thing cs uses isn't because of the wording of the law.

Trailmaster same as normal blade dimensions but with a handle with full width and full length tang, also micarta or G-10 slabs. Possibly with integral guard as well. Same for the Recon Scout!

Let me see now...A 5/8 in. thick Trailmaster or better yet Gurka Kukuri in 01 or SK5 HC steel is still available!! Hell, even the Laredos and Natchez are 5/8 at their thickest points!!

And BTW: I absolutely agree that the folders you describe would be great, but you'd need a belt carry pouch to go with it, and for some reason an extremely heavy well made folder can be as expensive as 550 rounds of 22LR nowdays :) !!

Exactly, and the same with the Laredo.

I thought of something else I'd like, a sax/seax. Not a machete version(I have the sax machete), but an actual, historical style seax. Non-black blade, wood or metal handles, quality sheath...

Right now from Cold Steel i would like to see footage from Shot Show showing their 2014 stuff. Or a new catalog!

Just found this.

I'd like to see a Cold Steel interpretation of it.

It's in 420 stainless, which is nothing special.

I think it could be done in the style of a Kudu. A Grivory handle, Kudu style ratchet lock although with the Navaja style lever to lift it rather than a ring so the spring can be stronger, and a 4116 Krupp blade.

570mm (22.4") overall length, and a 270mm (10.6") blade length.

Design it to be carried in a belt sheath rather than a pocket.

I'd buy one.

5/8 is .625. The thickest of their offerings is 5/16 (.3125). 5/8 is literally twice as thick.

I've no idea how much rounds cost. :P

The Laredo and Natchez would probably become even more popular if they were full tang, I think. Their current tang construction doesn't seem like it'd handle chopping very well - what do you think?
