Bought a knife June 14th. Immediate paypal payment. No knife and no response to email inquiries until June 27th when the seller, Justin Keeler, informed me that he had recently had serious medical issues but would send the knife "within the next day". As of today, no knife and no response to recent email inquiries.

Does anyone have amplifying information regarding current circumstances?
 
There have been others to have the same slow responce from him including myself.
IIRC everyone got their stuff but it may take a while.
 
I too am curious about what's happened to Justin. Right about the same time as miguet did his deal I did one with him as well and it's been several weeks since the payment with no knife forthcoming. I have emailed Justin once a day every day this week with no response as of yet. I do understand that due to the nature of his surgery he would have probably taken longer than usual to get the knives out. However, the lack of response thus far has me a bit worried. I do hope he is not in the hospital and that he is recovering speedily. This is also not attempt to besmirch his rep here on BF just an inquiry as to the shipment of the knives and his health.....Rich

ColeThornton was banned earlier this year at another knife forum for the same kind of conduct.

Hope everything works out for all parties concerned.
 
Oh damn! That doesn't sound good at all. Okay, I just called 411 and there are two numbers listed under this guys name. I will start calling Monday if there's no email reply by then. I paid by money order. Not sure what to do there. Guess I'll contact the issuer and find out what can be done if anything.

Hold on, I couldn't wait....one number I called is disconnected and there is no answer on the other number with no answering machine. I will keep trying until someone answers. I don't like the loosk of this one bit! :confused: :mad:

i too had a purchase the same day as you, and yes i got the same email. and still nothing. i am at the end of my rope here and am not sure what to do. anyone have any advice?
 
I don't have a dog in this one, sort of, however by time stamp, I seemed to have been the first responder (post, PM, e-mail) for the Northstar he was selling. I was a little annoyed that he did not take the time to respond. I see now that I was lucky.
I wish all involved good luck. I did a search over on the green forum and it seems he has been on this sh1tty kick since last Christmas. Normally I try not to get involved in others disputes but I just hope he turns his act around. I don't know about the rest of you but I enjoy having these forums to come and share fellowship with everyone here immensely. Due to work, family, etc. I don't get a chance to get together with friends that often and through the years, you all have become my friends. It would suck if I ruined my reputation here and the other forums. It would suck even worse if I dishonored myself like this.
Over on the wood grained forum (this is so silly) I saw another bad deal (unrelated) on FEEDBACK where the alleged cause was bad health. I don't get it. Why get into it if you know or even think you may not be able to follow through?
 
Stupid me. I didn't check his feedback on the other forum - until now. He was banned for exactly this kind of stuff. I'm not feeling particularly "understanding" at this point.
 
Just got back from the Acupncturist (Tore my medial meniscus) and am calling him right now. Still, no answer at all! No nada. no voice mail or anything. Maybe he has caller ID and he's just not answering. WTF! If no reply by next week I will call the Cops in his city. Positively! I'm starting to get really pissed.
 
I had one deal with colethornton two years' back - he gave me a good deal and was stand up. Yet I've read about his recent issues. this is real sad for me cos he was excellent in his dealing with me then. I hope Justin manages to turn this around.
 
Emailed several times and called and NOTHING YET! I will call the OKC cops by Tuesday if there's no reply come Monday evening.
 
Please let me know whether anything shakes out. I checked "Justin Keeler" in People Search. Nothing.
 
DragonSS, thanks! Just did a search and found a person of the same name in the same city. Just emailed him with that info requesting knives or money back as well. Fingers are crossed!
 
You gentlemen have been extremely polite in your words towards this guy under the circumstances.

This guy sounds like a real scumbag to me.

**** him and his bull**** surgeries.

I hope you get your knives from this dickhead.
 
RWS, we were trying to lend him some consideration if in fact he did have the surgery he claimed. Thinking he may have ended up in the Hospital or something. However, the continued delay of delivery and without any reply to calls or email are just pissing me off now regardless. If I have to I will tear him a new one! :mad:
