If you pay through PayPal using your credit card, then you can demand that you credit card company reverse the transaction. I have had to do this twice.

Okay, just got an address from another forumite (thanks!) who did business with this twit and I called and got two business phone numbers for it. But nothing under his name.

1. Trinity Brick: Tel number turns to fax, no message left

2. Collision King: Left a message, it's Sunday evening no one is there. We
shall see if I get a return call. Otherwise I am calling back tomorrow.

I am getting high bood pressure from all this crap!

well, my internet has been jacked lately, so i havent been able to keep up here. i too have yet to receive my knife or hear from justin. that really pisses me off that paypal has given the f u to the investigation, a lot of good that does. im really getting aggravated as well.

I am confident at some point whether it's a week from now, a year from now or two years from now, I will run into this guy. It will come back around, it always does. Whether it's on the internet or in person, I will catch this guy eventually. I don't forget when someone screws me over. He'll get his. This I know for sure. I'd rather us all get our knives or cash back now but either way, I'll get him. Heck, for all we know someone else he screwed caught this guy in his home town. Justin, it's gonna happen I promise you. So say the laws of Physics.

so i wonder, what the hell is this worth?

So I get home just now and what do I find??? A package from "Keeler"
p.o. box 82623 OKC, Ok, 73148 Mailed Jul 18. Inside is the knife I ordered and an extra Spyderco! Also inside is a letter with the following:

Dear Mr. Derespina,
My name is Bud Keeler and Justin was my brother. He lost his life on July 1st due to a blood clot in his brain from surgery to remove his Gallbladder and intestines. I would appreciate it if you would recend your claims so I am able to finalize his affairs. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Sincerely,
Bud Keeler

I am shocked! I don't know whether to believe this or not. I am inclined to not believe it as it just seems kinda fishy. My claims against him shouldn't prevent anyone from finalizing his affairs. As well, I called info looking for a Bud Keeler and found none. Unless of course Bud is a nick name. Which is entirely possible. HAs anyone else gotten a package from him??? Please advise. I gues the main thing that makes me think it's fake is that he sent it from the same p.o. box! Why not from his own home address? Hmm?

Either way, as promised I will have to humbly apologize for ragging on him here as unfortunately Mr. Keeler has passed on. Sorry for the Keeler's loss and again I apologize.

i got mine today too with a similar letter and a bonus. i wonder if bud is involved in the knife community as well? how else would he know about any of the stink that was raised? i agree, i was a bit skeptical, but it's best to give the benefit of the doubt and wish his family well. if it is a lie, it would be in very poor taste.

That's an interesting thread. It doesn't mention Justin's relation to anyone as far as I saw. Just colethornton chiming in not accepting responsibility for the gift. I think, maybe Justin just screwed up and when the heat got turned on he owned up and payed up.

Anyway, My sincerest apologies and sympathies to the Keeler's for their loss. All claims will be stopped against him. Bud, if you're reading this, thanks!....Rich

Someone from the same city and state with very close to the same spelling on the name has been posting on the green forum as recently as 7-5-05 under the name Thunderbear.Looks like some are haveing trouble with him too.

Can you email me or PM me the name with similar spelling that you speak of? Thanks!....Rich

What did he do, specify who gets what knives in his will?

He died having his Intestines removed? Most will!!!

He dies suddenly and someone knows who gets what knives???

Smells fishy..............

You have got to be kidding me?? Since you have the date of his "death", thisn't there a local newspaper?? Pick up the phone and call. They should be able to check the Obit's.

Otherwise, this guy and his fake brother are total tools, caught in a lie.

*** EDIT***Okay, check this out...I just found a website for the Oklahoman, a newspaper in OKC. NO ONE named Keeler died in 2005! Found this info inless then 10 minutes.

atlasfields, that was a great idea!!! Wolfmann you are right. Smells fishy! I think I'm gonna write this guy a letter. Either way, we got our knives as promised just really late. Hopefully EVERYONE will keep an eye out for anyoen resembling this guy.

Someone with the user name Thunderbear living in the same city has been using the other forum. Thunder bear has been pulling the same stunts over there. If his death was on 7/1/05 it is odd considering that Thunderbear was online 7/5/05. Who knows? The stories are not adding up at all.
