I've tried all means at my disposal to contact him. I can't believe that an avid hobbyist would sell his reputation for a few knives. What is up with this guy?
 
Found another number for this guy I think. Anyone who wants it email me and it's yours. I just called and this one has an answering machine. A message was left with contact info :mad:
 
Just got in touch with senior who's number I got in the Zaba search and he claims no knowledge of such transactions. As well, he has a son of the same name and he swears sonny wouldn't do such a thing at 28 years old. he is worried it's an identity theft issue. In talking to him I wasn't totally convinced that he thought his son was guiltless. Well, the next step is to call the cops which I will do in a few moments and see what they can come up with. I am on the fence with the fella I just spoke with. He was unusually quiet when questioning him on his son. Hmmm???? :confused: We shall see.....Rich
 
Yeah, I hate to say it but the guy sounded a lil full of sh*t. I can't prove it's the same dude so I'm just yes-ing him all the way and probing him with simple questions. His long pauses were a little suspect to me. Anyway, off to call the Police now.

PS , when I asked him about the PO box, it took him all of 30 seconds to reply and he said with an unconvincing tone "I don't know that address", then I mention the zip and if it's near him and he says it's very far away. Hmmm? He may be just at a loss for words or ????

There it is people an official complaint filed with the Feds! I also contacted the OKC Attorney Generals office and have been calling local Police but the tel is busy??? Go figure. Hey "colethornton", you might want to cough up our goods now. I won't stop until my kife is in my hand or my money returned. PERIOD! No retreat, No surrender boy! :mad:

RDT, just out of curiousity, did you ask sr about jr's health problems?

I wonder if he was shocked to hear his son was ill. :rolleyes:
 
I'm not sure what's going on here. Some of the people who have posted in this thread seem to be very sure that ColeThornton is a plain ol' thief and liar, but that doesn't seem so clear to me. He was a member over two years and built up a good reputation for honest dealing in that time. Swindlers aren't usually that patient ... they don't usually wait that long before springing the trap. This certainly bears investigation, but let's not lynch him in absentia just yet.... Let's find out what's really going on first. The rope won't spoil as long as we coil it up nicely and store it in a dry place....
 
Cougar Allen, you are correct and a sort of sympathy is what this thread started with. It could very well be that Colethornton does have health problems and is hospitalized or maybe has passed? Who knows. The point being that, there should have been some "arrangements" made within the last month for the knives to be shipped. The email he sent us stating they would be shipped within two days and apologizing for the delay due to health issues. Yet weks go by and nothing has arrived. It just smacks of scam. If Colethornton does surface here and has a good reason like his health. As well, he comes thru on the deals. I will eat my words and apologize with the utmost humility. I have and believe the others who are in this have sent emails wishing him well and a speedy recovery. My health is no where near what he claims his is but I got out 12 packages since I have been home bound in the last two weeks. Crutches and all. My wife offered to do it but instead we did it together. Anyway, hopefully the local and fed authorities will better provide us with info on this issue. Again, if it was truly his health, I will most definately publicly apologize and any charges that are in motion will be promptly dropped.
 
Cougar Allen, I agree with what you're saying. However, there is some disconcerting history regarding him in another forum. I'm not convinced that he goes into these deals with the intention of immediately ripping people off. I don't know him so I won't speculate about his personal situation. I suspect that he'll come through in the 11th hour - but in the interim, its frustrating.
 
Rhesus Feces, I mentioned it to the Senior and it also took him after a 20 second pause to reply. When I first mentioned surgery he goes "um, hm?" but in acknowledgement it sounded to me. I actually had to ask him twice because he didn't asnwer soon enough. However, I am biased in this matter so I could be reading into things though I consider myself a good reader of tones and attitudes. I could easily be wrong. :(
 
If Mr. Thornton is hospitalized in extremely critical condition, or in a coma, I too will apologize, profusely.
Short of that.....
 
So far I still haven't gotten any results but for starting the complaint/report. This guy hasn't surfaced yet.
 
Yeah. Its important to keep Justin Keeler in the limelight until he delivers our knives. Its been a month now.

Grrrrrrrr! :mad: That is really discouraging. However, they do have a trace to him now so you may wanna ask for that information if possible. In other words, Justin Keeler still has an existing bank account or paypal account though it may be in the red. So, an address is attached to that somehow. Not likely to be a p.o. box either for bank and paypal verification purposes no? If you can get a hold othat, pass it along man. I will call this dude every day until he picks up. So far no progress on the complaint I filed either. Damn!
