That eno does look like a good deal. All said and done it looks like I would be right around the $200 mark as well.

Murph, no more straining on the crapper. Can't tell you how many people vagal out on the crapper.

I know there was a thread on this a while back but...

Any recommendations for a hammock?
Trying to stay under $200 for hammock, tarp, bug net, straps, basically all that I would need to swing comfortably.
I don't even know if I will like sleeping in a hammock but figured it would save some weight instead of a tent.

Warbonnet Blackbird Double. Solves alot of problems you will run into later. Has built in bug net and the double layer allows you to stuff a sleeping pad in without you having to worry about it shifting.

Ummm....that was the point. It's the snark thread.

Seems like warbonnet, Hennessey, and eno get the best reviews. That Hennessey survivor in woodland cam looks pretty nice. Warbonnet looks pretty good as well. May have to sell some knives and a pack and just go for it.

Murph - SWMBO wants to know how many METs you went on the stress test.

and the BK6 isn't gone yet, but I had 3 fairly serious bites and a nibble, so it's probably best if I consider it sold.

Well, as you guys have already read, all seems well with Murph, nothing life threatening anyway. No bodies happier about that than me. Spoke with him earlier today. As I'm trying to figure out the severity of his illness, hes telling me about which T.M.Hunt emails hes knocked out during his stay in the hospital. Honestly, this whole knife thing was the last thing on my mind. But one of the first on his.......Damn man. I dont have many people in my life that have my back like that...... All the shit I give him. Sure glad its nothing serious.

I use a DD Hammock.

Glad to hear Ol Murph found out whats going on. Best of health to him!

Now if I could get Ethan to give me a note to get out of work I could go out and play.

I've got the Hennessy Ultralight Backpacker with an upgraded tarp and the Eno Junglenest with a Hennessy tarp.
I like both, and both come with built-in bug nets.
The Hennessy has a little more wiggle room. The Eno wraps up more snugly.

Speaking of notes, tradewater can fart the national anthem. No joke.
Watching him hit that high note is exquisite. Poetry in motion.
Involves a hatchet and a cast iron skillet to boot. A.Freakin.Mazing.
