Spike thanks for the heads up. As for your ammo question: I think Federal and Hornaday make M1 specific ammo. The increased pressure of the newer loads decreases the safety factor engineered into the garand action. So technically you could shoot modern ammo but with a higher risk of damage to you or the action. Not sure who sells one but an adjustable gas plug my be the answer. I know Sadlak makes great stuff for the M1a and its the same action so maybe give them a call. Pretty smart and friendly folks there.

Started doing preenrollment stuff at school today, trying to decide if I want to try out for the base ball team next year, it been almost 4 years since I've played, but I miss it

Thanks! The strange thing is, I never really felt bad the whole time. I was a little uncertain of my condition and of course a bit nervous. The warden was way more wrecked than I was. She stepped up in a big way while I was out of action. Hell, she even came to my aid while I was bleeding on the floor. I think my previous position that she is out to kill me may need revisited.

Hey, for anybody that is interested in purchase T.M.Hunt knives with no wait. Theres gonna be some good news. I have landed two dealer gigs. Im super excited about it. Howes knife shop is now carrying a limited amount of knives and have a large order in place. Check it out.

710: love those combo's. Is the black sheath an ATACS camo?

Side note: any body need a stock bk-11 sheath? Got one laying around and hate to waste it.

I didn't mean to alarm anyone with my earlier post, just kind of a heads-up... I might be sort of pre-occupied/busy for a bit. Thank you all very much for your kindness and concern for our family, I really do appreciate it. At this point I'm not comfortable saying much more about it than, I think it will all work out OK.
 
Hot tub got repaired today :thumbup: Thank God there was very little damage!

even after 48 hours with a heater on it... Pump 2 had an ice chunk inside. The guy cleared it out and it fired up perfectly! the only part that needed to be replaced was the heater tube. There is a temperature sensor that sits on top of the tube, when there was no water passing through because of ice blockage the air inside the tube heated up and pressurized. The fail point was the sensor gasket which blew. They are going to try to see if they can send the part in for warranty. As soon as they hear back I'll get my bill!

I have mixed feelings about this as well. A nine day trial and 2-3 hours of deliberation seem a bit rushed compared to other spectacles (Jodi Arias trial for example). I also have some issues with all of the book deals, movies, etc featuring Navy SEALs. You don't see all the publicity with Army, AF, or MARSOC and their activities because most of them take the moniker "Silent Professionals" seriously. For whatever reason, the Navy seems determined to foster the image of Navy SEALs) as loud and very often drunk, but with very good publicists. I'm not personally from that community, but have known quite a few, and the Navy has always rubbed me the wrong way in this regard. Rant over...
